Idella Burdett Mackey
James, you know the thrill of finding the grave of someone you've been looking for forever? Well, I experienced that thrill when I saw your findagrave # 86048662 for Idella B. Mackey. And I got carried away with making links to her parents and adding to her name. I am so sorry! You'll see some changes coming your way as I link your Idella to her parents James P. Burdett and Sarah Frances Burdett. Idella appears with her father and step-mother Catherine once, in the 1880 Census of Cobb County, Lemmons. I suspect that your Idella Burdett Mackey's birth in 1879 was the cause of her mother's death--Sarah Frances Burdett 1853-1879. Now that I've straightened out the mess that I created with your Idella, I'll continue the search for my Floy Idella Barfield Mackey. Again, I apologize for the errors I created on your memorial.

Thanks so much for sharing your photo and information about Zachariah, and Anna Sarah Baskin, for they were my Grandaddy, and Grandmother. I never knew them, because they died when my Grandmother was young. Great job!

James, Would you mind removing one of the pictures of the tall marker that are very similar? I have a picture of Mrs. Reynolds that I would like to post and there is no more room. Appreciate it.

There is a picture on Mrs. Behling's page of when she was first buried - didn't know if you had seen it or not, but thought you would want to add it to your early photos of Hollywood.

RE: James Gooddy grave photo
No problem. I sent a name correction because it really looks like a "C" on the marker but I've also seen some Gs that are Cs...

mom's grave
You must have taken this picture of the graves of my mother, Katherine H. Ayers and her father, my grandfather, Lawton G. Hall after my son and I cleared her grave. Thank you for posting this picture. I was going to add one of the entire plot cleared, but I love the picture you posted. Thank you so much!

James.....Thank you for posting the picture of my Uncle Gerald's grave. Born Oct. 12, 1943 Death: Aug. 27, 1963. Although I was only 5 years old when he died, it saddens me to know that he died at such a young age while working to protect our rights to be free. I'm sure there are many families that are just as surprised as I am to run across your site and find that you have handled something that they were unable to for whatever the reason was.

James....Thank you so much for clearing the site where my grandfather is buried. I never knew him as he passed away before I was born. My last living uncle on that side of the family that lives in Rhode Island just told me today where he my grandfather is buried. I'm still looking for the address of the cemetery to see how far it is from me. I was so pleased to see that you had posted a picture of the marker. My uncle said that he went there years ago to try to find it and was unable to. I thought it was going to be much harder than it has turned out to be. My sincere thanks to you. Shelia :-)
