I enjoy "cemetery projects" as a means of preserving our past for our future. Many of the records that I have added on find a grave are not related; however, there is so much historical information that can be found on these individuals that it is a shame not to find and record their moment in time.

I do not add information to records that I maintain on findagrave.com from U.S. Census reports as this information would be duplicated since findagrave records are now interfaced on ancestry.com. The only exception would be if the census record contained an obvious error where inclusion would clarify an error.

The photographs on the records I create were taken by me. I do not mind your using these for non-profit means or family research, but if you use any at least have the courtesy to give credit as to where you obtained the photograph.

Richland (AL) Baptist Church Cemetery ~
Hello. I noticed you took THIS photo at Richland Baptist Church. My question is, do you recall where this cemetery is located? I won't bore you with my reasons for asking, just hoping you might recall where it is... I suspect the GPS they are showing is wrong. (I've phoned them repeatedly, never get a call back.) Rich.

RE: Lucy Epsy Snell
Thanks so much for telling me. I thought I did it from Lucy's site. I wish there were an easier way to do that. :)

RE: EE Martin

I don't recall whether or not I responded to your message as copied here or whether you responded to my request for the other pictures. Thanks, John

RE: EE Martin
I would love to have a copy of any and all of the photos you may have. A cousin and myself are wanting more info about her. Thank you so much in advance. Please send them via email to
suwanneejohn@windstream.net and if you have any info on Irby Martin who was EE Martins father.

Thanks again, John

RE: Corrections and/or lInks??
I'll add Daniel's information soon. You're right, I shouldn't have added Mary Shular Snell's picture to Wm. Snell. I'll try to delete it.

Thanks.

Justin Johnston
Union Springs Primitive Baptist Church
My grandmother, Julia Edna Johnston Weber passed two weeks ago and while I was in Jack for the funeral, I decided to head toward Brundidge on my way out and go to the Union Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Wow, talk about eye opening! It's amazing how our ancestors are all buried in that one place and to know that the Johnston side of the family has been in the Jack/Tarentum area for more than 150 years!
