Bio Photo I moved to North-Central Kansas in late 2008, which gave me a whole new starting place for family history research! My grandmother Elsa Opal Long Vandecar (1896-1996) was the family historian, and for the last 15 years or so I've been trying to continue her legacy.

You are welcome to copy any of my gravestone photos onto other genealogy or family history websites; no need to credit me. Helping other family historians by gathering those photos is my way of paying forward all the help I've received!

Scottsville Cemetery
Hi Again Sarah,
It is wonderful that you plan to do some more photographing of tombstone at Scottsville Cemetery.

Because Kansas' records that are available to the public are almost non-existent and very few and far between, other materials such as tombstones that have vital record information, become that much more important.

Keep up your good work.

Phillip Keeler
Hi Sarah,
This is just a short note to let you know, much to my surprise, because it was so fast, that Ken Robinson has fulfilled my photo request for Philip Keeler's tombstone. So now there is no reason for you to go to the Scottsville Cemetery...

Bernice Keeler
Hi Sarah,
Thank you so much for transferring Bernice to me so fast. I will be updating her memorial in a few minutes. I'm not sure where you live, but I have put in a tombstone photo request for Philip Keeler, Bernice's husband, and am wondering whether you might be able to fulfill this for me. I feel certain that Philip is buried next to Bernice. So, if you can do this, it should be very easy for you to find his gravestone.
