Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband is so understanding as we do our genealogy, plus stopping at cemeteries to fulfill photo requests for other people.

If you find any errors, want additional information or an obituary added, please send it through the edit tab on the memorial and I will revise &/or add the information. Since many volunteers create memorials that aren't relatives, it makes it much easier if we don't have to go "hunting" for the memorial you are referring to.

IF YOU REQUEST A TRANSFER, BE SURE YOU ARE COMMITTED TO A LIFETIME OF MAINTAINING THE MEMORIAL. UNFORTUNATELY A FEW OF MY OLDER TRANSFERS ARE MAINTAINED BY CONTRIBUTORS WHO NO LONGER RESPOND.EDITS SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE THE SOURCE.

A BIG thank you to all of the fellow findagravers that add my suggestions, and, especially, the obits so that many individuals can benefit from them on their search.

Please consider any pictures that I have taken as yours...I am the messenger and believe that they belong to the family.

****If you volunteer on this website and decide you no longer want to maintain the records please transfer your records to someone who has an active account and willing to take over the records. I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates. It would also be a good idea to leave someone instructions on how to do make these transfers should you go inactive without warning.***** Thank You

My philosophy; "No One Should Be Forgotten".

Dear Peggy,
Thank you so much for the information for the memorial page of Mildred Herz. I am so appreciative - it is wonderful to be able to include the information on her page. Your kindness in sending it is much appreciated!

RE: Doubling Gap Church of God Cemetery
Peggy,

I am the historian of the Doubling Gap Church of God which includes the Cemetery. The information I have updated comes from the burial records, death certificates, and/or the PA birth/death archives. We are updating our church website which includes cemetery information by linking to "Find a Grave" so we don't have to rebuild that portion of our website.
I have used Find a Grave for years while doing my own genealogy research and love it and refer others to that site.
Are you familiar with this particular cemetery, or do you work with any Find a Grave entries? Most of my relatives are from Indiana & Armstrong Counties in PA.

Jim

Great. Let me know if there is anyone else in the area. I love to go out and find the stones and family history.

RE: Drennon family
I can't think of any obits to ask about now, but if you find any that I have memorials for I will be happy to add them.
My husband and I used to go the the archives from time to time, mostly for me but he enjoyed looking at and reading things that they had. He was from that area too, not so much interested in genealogy, but always willing to take me. I could have gone by myself then but now, not possible and he actually liked going.
Physically I cannot drive that far anymore. Sure wish I could. My husband and parents are buried at Hermitage Memorial Gardens and I would like to go there more often.

Growing up I did live at Mt. Juliet not far from Lebanon, but have not lived in that area since 1955. John and Ann are my 5th great-grandparents. Hope you have a great trip.

Why don't you just put it in the bio that this is a centograph and then put the find a grave memoriall # where she is actually buried? I'm confused why it has to go to Find A Grave to make a change. Thanks for letting me know. TONI
