I am researching the names-Ives, Van Valkenburg, Wright, Babcock, Brush, Conklin, Kutz. Many of these people are from the East coast, New York, Connecticut, Massachuesetts, New Jersey. The Kutz's came from Germany in 1891 by way of Baltimore, MD.|
If you think we may be distant cousins, please e-mail me, I'd love to hear from you!!
Please do not use my photos without my permission. I will gladly share if asked.

I can not find any source with the name of Hyatt. Maybe her maiden name is Harris, instead of her middle name. So sorry for the confusion. Have a great day. janet

Of course you can use the photographs.

Oh well, it's still always nice to meet a Wright! Thanks again for your help and I will certainly give you credit for the nice photo you took of their marker.

Thanks for the quick transfer of their memorials, I really appreciate it. Is there any connection to your Wrights?? My line emigrated from England to Massachusetts, moved on to New York and eventually settled in Wisconsin/Illinois.

Thank you Vicki for posting this gravesite in Rock Co. Wisconsin. Could this be the site for Sanford C. Horton born 22 Feb. 1830 in Hume, Allegheny, NY, and died Feb 21 1910 in Fulton, Rock Co., WI?

We're definitely kin. I'll have to study your posts carefully to tell you how but maybe I can figure it somehow. Will be back in touch. Thanks for all your good work! Grayson Van Valkenburgh in AL

I always expect someone to double check the dates. I received a copy of the burial records, recorded by someone in 1947 of this cemetery and, of course, there will be some typos. But, many of the dates may be correct because now, some are unreadable 67 years later. You can do whatever you want with these edits - I am just passing along the dates recorded in the booklet "History of the Town of Lyons" published 1947 where several people all went around and recorded the tombstones from every cemetery in Lyons Township and then published it in this booklet.

Thank you for adding the info. I could not locate her mother's grave on Find A Grave so it will help especially since the cemetery is fenced and locked shut.
