Israel Mead, Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville, Allegany County, N.Y., Plot A68

Hi Georgia,

I was wondering if you may be able to help solve a mystery for me?

There are two Find A Grave memorials for Israel Mead, Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville, Allegany County, N.Y., Plot A68. You submitted photographs of the gravestones for the first memorial:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=68939246

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=41942048

The second memorial claims that there is an inscription which reads, "Co E 169th Inf Reg NY." Can you verify that the inscription is there, and submit a photo of it to his memorial if that is the case?

Thanks!

Thanks Georgia for turning John, Bernice and Leo over to me. As mentioned they are Uncle, Aunt and cousin to me!
