I am trying to find information about Mr. Ezekiel Powers Sr., and Jane Simpson Powers, son E. powers Jr. Known as Ezekiel Powers Jr.

Ezekiel Powers Jr., was a member of the Orient Lodge No. 337, when it was in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Tring to find dates when he was born and died.

Flossie F. VanSickle, 87, of Friendsville, Md. died Friday, January 23, 2004, at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. Born August 26, 1916, in Friendsville, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Savage and Sarah (Kelley) Savage. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 65 years, Lawrence VanSickle, January 25, 1997; three brothers and three sisters. She leaves to mourn three children, Parley VanSickle, Bethesda, Md., Wayne VanSickle, Friendsville, Md. and Hazel VanSickle, at home; four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, eleven step great grandchildren and two step great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of Laurel Run Church of God for many years. She raised her own three children, then took her three grandchildren and raised them until they were out of school. She worked mostly for her son as a cook at Parley's Cafeteria for 32 years and rode the greyhound bus most of that time to D.C., Baltimore and Bethesda. Flossie asked "Please don't buy me any flowers. All my flowers were given to me here where I could see and smell them." Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Avenue, Friendsville, Md. on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Harvey Havens officiating. Interment will be in Blooming Rose Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Laurel Run Church of God.
