Jyles Landels
Hi Cathy, thank you so very much for the obit for Jyles. Her mother was first cousin of one of your memorials - William Halbert # 35946947. William is a distant cousin to me through his mother Allison nee Cairns. James Halbert #23135999 also in Linwood was Jyles' grandfather. He was killed in the 1902 mining disaster. William's father was Matthew, brother of John. I read on your bio you are documenting Boone County so I wanted to share this information. If you find any further information on The Halbert Families I would be interested. Many thanks, again, and best regards, Jan

Kick and Kouhns Memorials: Boone County, Iowa
Cathy:

Many, many thanks for the edits on the 5 Kick/Kouhns memorials in Glenwood & Linwood cemeteries in Ogden, Boone County, Iowa. Very much appreciated. Wish I had had obits for all these people. Good to see memorials developed and linked up.

And all hats off to you for your kind attention and diligent work in these cemeteries and getting memorials established.

Best, Barry

Martha Fuller memorial # 76704088 & Fannie Clark memorial # 23424167
Hi Cathy,
I have been researching my Fuller roots, and I have a question. In my family history I have a Mrs. Martha Fuller born about 1841 Tennessee, USA, married to a William 'Jay' Fuller born 1841 La Grange, Cass, Michigan, USA. Martha was married before she was married to William 'Jay' Fuller she married either a Mr. Winston or a Mr. Quinton and had a boy and a girl named Francis Quinton or Francis Winston and they called her Fanny. She was born in 1862, and the boy was Thomas J Quinton or Thomas J Winston born 1861. Those two children were born in Arkansas. Martha then married William 'Jay' Fuller and moved to Kansas and had eight more children of their own. I see where Martha Fuller's memorial # 76704088 also connects with Fannie Clark's memorial # 23424167 which was created by: Burt. Now I don't know if Martha and Fannie are the same ones from my family, but am wondering if you have any further information on them. It says on Fannie's memorial that her step father was Dennis Fuller and of course if that is true I am barking up the wrong tree, so to speak. Burt's message page is disabled for some reason and so I am hoping you might be of some help. A couple of other spelling of the names found in some of the census' is Winton & Whinton. The last known census for this family is in 1880 they were living in Cauthron, Logan, Arkansas, though William 'Jay' Fuller is buried in the family Fuller Cemetery in Gardner, Johnson County, Kansas. It's hard when there are so many spelling of the names in the census'. If there is any help or clue you could give me I would be very grateful. Thank you for your dedication and all you do.

Thank Again,
Phyllis
