Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been involved in genealogy for over 60 years. It started when an uncle asked me to make a family tree for an upcoming family reunion. That reunion is over, but the tree hasn't stopped growing. Cemeteries are a wonderful source of family history, and, observation combined with outright detective work make a fascinating and addictive combination.

Please, do not put death certificates on the memorials, chances are I've already put any pertinent information in the biography. Let's celebrate the life of the person.

Sharps and Clarks - Thanks!
Judi, you do excellent work on your memorials. It shows that you care and want them to tell a story, to honor and remember those who have gone before us. Keep up the excellent work.

Alma Luella Koella
Hey, Judi, thanks for the heads up regarding Alma. I both had her and didn't -- knew she was daughter of Frederick & Bertha, didn't know she was also a photographer (since her work was all in the 20th century). Will e-mail you some info you may (or may not) be interested in. And yes, it IS a crazy life! Don

RE: Frame
Yes, I think I'm going to have to go to the court house, etc. and dig a little deeper to solve the mysteries. At least I have a start now, thanks to you. I'm going with the Turner name.

Can't thank you enough for all this information. I am so happy that you found both marriage license's for Hannah and Elizabeth. I wonder what war James was in, I noticed the flag on his grave. Couldn't have been Civil War. Do you think I would be safe to connect the James you found, to my great grandmother, Elizabeth, his daughter by Elizabeth Turner? I've been looking at her last name for a long time. Some census it looks like Teener, but I think it's Turner, don't you?
Again, thanks my friend,

RE: Frame
Oh my goodness...I have been searching all afternoon for Hannah's death, burial site, etc. You are the BEST!!!! Thank you soooo much. I did find her parents and some of her siblings. Still looking for her husband James McWilliams who was the father of my great grandmother, by his first wife, Elizabeth. Looking for her too. :) I believe her name was Elizabeth Turner and she died after the 1850 census. James married Hannah Frame in 1855. My great grandmother's name on the census was Jemima and she, through the years, changed it to Lizzy and Elizabeth. I think her name was Jemima Elizabeth McWilliams. I have several pictures of her on Find A Grave.
Again, let me thank you for this great find!!!!
