I think this "Find-a-Grave" website is wonderful, and I hope more people will add data to it. Hopefully my input will help someone out there.|
I so enjoy finding & visiting the old pioneer cemeteries, where the dates go back to the 1700-1800's.
I'll be more than happy to make corrections and/or add data, make relationship links, etc, but I am curtailing (not stopping) transferring memorials due to a growing misunderstanding of what Find-a-grave is all about.
Please DO NOT not leave me a message of "any kind" without leaving a way for me to get back to you. It makes no sense to do so - it is useless and it will be ignored.
Your "e-mail" must be present in your messages to me.
DO NOT ask for transfers without return contact information either.
I only transfer memorials according to Find-a-grave guidelines so check first before asking please.
TRANSFERS: Per Findagrave regulations:
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. This DOES NOT include aunts, uncles and cousins.
Please do NOT add personal data in the "Leave Flowers & Note" section -- that is NOT what it is for...... send the data to me & I will be happy to add it in the "Bio Section" where it belongs. Thanks!
Another contributor has ask my help in managing some of the memorials he created, therefore if I can be of any help to you with of the memorials he has transferred me let me know. I will be glad to make updates/corrections or links to them.

Check out my memorial below for my beloved kitty "Punky" that crossed over the "Rainbow Bridge" on July 20, 2014. It was such a heartbreak..... I miss her so much.

I noticed on Samuel's memorial you listed the source as Ancestry(Family Tree). You also added ... no death listed, but entered the death info. Are you related to Samuel or do you just copy info from people's family trees? The problem with the family trees is there are not always correct.

Dear Ruth. I wanted to thank you for all your help on trying to find out who to get ahold of on this Cemetery. Shelia was wonderful. She really came through. She found out and gave me the contacts numbers. The lady that is responsible for this Cemetery was so nice and helpful. The stone should be here at the end of July. The caretakers are going to meet me there when I get the stone. Even offered to help me install it. Wow. you can't beat that Thanks again Carol Gordon Sellers

Thank you for adding this corrected memorial. The other one is not. Sending you an email.

Mrs Millington was my 3rd grade teacher who I remember fondly after 60 years or so. We are not related.
I have the obituary if you are interested in posting it. I think the retirement date is wrong but I have no way of finding out.
I live in Albany, New York so I doubt whether I could get a phot or picture of her headstone but if I am near that way I may stop by the cemetery.

RE: TATE family
John Robert TATE is my husband's gr-grandfather's brother, so I guess that means you can't transfer him to me? I have a lot of info to give you, but we're on our way to Indiana for July 4th weekend and I'd like to walk that cemetery and Salem on Fall Creek again on Sunday. You;ll be hearing from me again! Hi Ruth, I want to thank you so much for Transferring William Gordon's Memorial to me. That means so much. I am going to just put one there. I am like you why should I get in trouble when no one claims to know who is taking care of it. It was mowed when I visited last Saturday. So I know someone is responsible for it. Thanks Ruth From Carol Gordon Sellers
