Nearly all of the memorials I have entered and flowers left are somehow related to our family, if you happen to be related would love to hear from you.|
I am currently working on trying to locate the final resting place of all the men who were part of the First Special Service Force, aka Devil's Brigade or Black Devils. In July 2013, the Congressional Gold Medal was awarded, collectively, to the First Special Service Force, in recognition of its superior service during World War II.
Most memorials I have created in CT cemeteries are not family and happy to transfer to family.

|B. Pierson||John Schubert|
Hi, While at the cemetery to get the photo you requested, John is lying next to a Myrtle Schubert 1906-1987, would you like to make up a memorial for her so that you can maintain it, or would you prefer that I make it and transfer it to you? I'll do it either way, and will wait for your response, Bobby

Frank S Brown JR June 16th 1924 - August 24th 1944
is my Grandfather's brother, Grand Uncle I guess you could call him. I have some pictures of him if you are interested. His brother is still alive and living in Middleboro MA. He has some westerunion telegrams from the military and also some letters written home from Frank. I was kind of hoping you may have some information that I could add to his bio.
Are family was never clear on the circumstances of his death. We know that he received two purple hearts. We know that he was wounded twice, one being fatal. Story ( not sure if true or not ) was he got wounded once and could have came home but he said " he was sent there to do a job and he was not coming home until all the boys come home" He was true to his word. Would love to communicate with you further if you are interested.

Hi, in addition to Theodore, found and photographed 4 more Luther's--specifically O.Jack., Louie L., and Johan John. If no memorials for them, would you create and I will upload them. Sue

You can use the photo for your project on veterans in WWII. I have taken a great deal of photos of the veterans graves. I am the pastor of the church and I am currently working on a church history and want to include the stories of some of the many individuals buried in the church cemetery.
