I'm currently researching Tyringham Cemetery in Massachusetts, for the Tyringham town historical commission. The end result will be a complete photographic and inscription record, a gravestone locator map, a genealogical sketch of each person buried there, and a name index to facilitate understanding of their family connections.

This cemetery is a sad story honestly. Quite a few years ago some people decided they were going to clean it up. Their intentions were good, but their education was lacking. They moved every stone to the front of the cemetery close to the gate for people to read easier and in the process moved them all with no order (random spots). While the rest of the cemetery is just empty space with no markers. :(

I am sorry to hear that. Will there be a time when it is available for transferring? I am hoping this will not become part of a paid service.

Thomas Jones and Lydia Rockwood Jones
Patricia:

I was recently in the Tyringham area doing research, and found some of my family info. I was wondering if i could take over management of the memorials for Thomas Jones #71280234, and Lydia Rockwood Jones #71280229. They would be my 5th Gr. Grandparents. Thank you so much for posting them. I loved the Tyringham area, and hope to get back there again sometime soon. Thanks so much.

Photo request
I recently found a lonely grave in my local cemetery (Oakwood, Berlin, WI) that I have discovered is Ithiel's son Aralsa Aralafey Battel. I have submitted edits to the manager of his Find a Grave Memorial but so far they haven't been accepted. I would like to create an ancestry site and use your photo of his parents headstones on the Find a Grave site to re-connect him with his relatives. Of course, I would give full credit to you. Thank you for considering this.

I did create one. I was asked to photo document all the people and marked in the "old" section of Glenwood cemetery and since her name was on the stone I created one. I don't have any information to add to that so if you have any or can get some, please let me know.

RE: Samuel Strait
You are welcome. Did you notice that he also had a wife named Sybil?
