I can remember as a child walking cemeteries with my mom who started researching in the early 1960's. It wasn't until the research bug hit me in 1991 I understood the peace one feels. Since I found Find A Grave in 2002 I have made so many friends and found a distant cousin I would have never known & grown to cherish had she not placed flowers on my immediate family memorials.
Please respect my choice not to create family trees on Find A Grave by asking me to link memorials without proof. I am seeing the same wrong information on Findagrave as seen on Ancestry & will not be a part of linking because someone asked me to and it be wrong. I will not link anyone related to me with or without proof. I am related to eveyone I manage the memorials except those located in the State & Counties listed below.
If you are related in ANY WAY to anyone I have in Lincoln & Otero Cos., NM; Hyde Co., NC or Jefferson Co., WV please let me know & I will transfer the memorial to you as they are of no relation to me.
Research is a passion, proof is essential the find is priceless.

Hi Ann,going through the Capitan Cemetery and found a duplicate of this man. The oldest site has the obit. The one your photo is on has the basic info. To make it less confusing maybe you could add your photo to the original site. If that is possible. Perhaps then I could ask the person who added the latest site to remove his. I wonder if you have had the chance to get out to the cemetery to see if my Grandmother's headstone is a real one, or still the funeral home marker...my family wants to know if another family member did in fact pay for the real stone as she stated.
