Bio

As the Administrator for the Mulkey Cemetery in Eugene for many years, I have a great personal connection to that cemetery as I have family there. I have spent more hours than you could count researching the people buried there. I would prefer NOT to transfer memorials from the Mulkey as I am constantly working on adding obituaries, links, and historical information. BUT I am perfectly willing to add information for you!!

I am willing to transfer other memorials, outside of the Mulkey, if you fall into the F-A-G guidelines.

Remember YOU CAN ADD ANY MEMORIALS TO YOUR VIRTUAL CEMETERIES...you do not need to be the owner. That way, you can still have all your family together, even if the memorial is maintained by somebody else!!!

You may be related to someone but so is someone else. I may be related to that person too. It is a small world. That is why I cannot transfer memorials like the BLANTONS, in the Mulkey Cemetery. I get too many requests from people who all feel they are the most important family member. I am not being difficult…..I cannot choose who is more important.

I also worked as the administrator for the Eugene Masonic and Eugene Pioneer Cemeteries.

If you have bio information for one of my listings just ask me and I will add it for you. Please don't add another listing with the same name. That way a name doesn't appear twice in the same cemetery, which gets really confusing.

By all means, please let me know if you find an error in my listings. Old funeral home records, death certificates, etc. are sometimes very difficult to read, especially if they are handwritten. And we all know markers are sometimes unreadable.

I grew up in a small town in Oregon where I was lucky enough to have a cemetery on our property! Playing in the tombstones set the tone for the rest of my life. I've spent several years working for cemeteries and funeral homes and I think it is the most interesting business out there. I have seen spirits all my life, starting in "our" cemetery as a kid, right through my funeral home years.
