Everyone Please Read!!!!!|
If you claim a request, do the right thing, try to get it within 3-4 days. The requester deserves this response. Don't wait 14 days and then not post a photo, that is just stupid.
Don't ever tell a funeral home or cemetery office that you are with find-a-grave. You are ruining it for us that just look for requests.
also,If you see something that has a note with, don't re-request it, that means it has been looked for before, your just wasting time.
It would be nice if you are requesting one of a married couple, if you know the other person's name, to request the other name also at the same time. If you don't know the other half's name, don't worry about it.
If you have an obit for the person you are requesting, it would be nice for you to re-type it and place it under BIO per find-a-grave rules.
Buy putting obits on the photo side it takes up spots for photo's.
I can take photo's from most any cemetery in Lexington or Richland County in South Carolina.
Also, I have some photo's from Franklin County, Iowa, Black Hawk County, Iowa, Linn County, Iowa, Fayette County, Iowa, Buchanan County, Iowa and Wright County, Iowa.
I don't mind anyone using my photo's, but not to post on find-a-grave!!!!! This is against Find-a-Grave Policy. Also do not post any of my photo's on Ancestry.Com or any other web page. Personal use will be fine.

|Jay's Daughter||Unmarked Underwood|
I noticed you just entered a memorial in St. Peter's Cemetery in Columbia, South Carolina. I am looking for the location of an unmarked grave in that cemetery and the office can confirm the person is buried there but cannot find where they are buried.
I am hoping you might have an idea or go to person in that area. My aunt is going there later this week and wants to visit her brother's grave.
I am sure it is not marked. I believe it to be in the baby section. The person I spoke to a number of years ago said the record was under "Baby" Underwood. The person I talked to today stated it is under Neal Thomas Underwood. He died January 10, 1953 when was 2 days old. My grandpa was stationed at Fort Jackson.
Please let me know if you can help.
Thank you very much for your consideration.

No, you were not to suppose to send an email.
It use to be automatic, but lately I have not been getting emails to notify me when someone has fulfilled my request, nor has an email let those I have taken photo for, know that I have done so.
It may be some change from within Find A Grave or some temporary problem.
I do hope it goes back to the way it was.
Thanks again for your help!

|M. Jenkins Millard||Raymond Francis Shepherd|
Thank you for the grave photo of Rev. Raymond Francis Shepherd. Marker photos that clear are indeed a rarity. May I assume that the other half of the marker is shared by his son, Mark Stephen Shepherd and/or perhaps reserved for his wife who I believe is still living?
