Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been into genealogy and walking cemeteries since 2006. One side of my family comes from southern Iowa/Northern Missouri (Wayne County and Mercer County) via Pennsylvania (Hempfield, West Moorland). The other side from Norway to Bode in Humboldt County, Iowa. Those Norwegians are hard to figure out! I also have roots in Greene County and scattered around the state. I would be happy to go to any cemeteries in central Iowa when time permits, just let me know where and who I am looking for and I will get there as soon as I can. I am also willing to look up information needed on a person at the local libraries when I go. I keep a list of requests and will be happy to add more.

If I have added a memorial for your family and that person is not in mine, I am willing to transfer.

Thanks for Littlefields
Betsy,

Thank you so much for your quick response in providing photos of the gravestones of Ora Nellie Littlefield and the other family members in the plot. Having her date of death gave me the info needed to track down her obituary, and fill in a hole in my family tree.

Thanks again, I really appreciate it.

It's me again; I just found another one--Charless H. Porter in Cerro Gordo Co. May I use that one too?

C. Canfield TS photo
Dear Ms. Monson,
Thank you so much for taking and posting the picture of C.L. Canfield's tombstone. Since I live so far away I really appreciate your effort to get the picture. There were several more names on the tombstone so he (they) should be able to be easily identified. Thank you again.
