I'm a native of Utah now living in Raleigh, NC. I'm a genealogist and all around history buff. |
Please let me know if you find errors in my memorials so that I may correct them. Also please feel free to use any photo's I post as long as it's not for profit(if photo's are used "courtesy" of someone, please note that if you repost them).
I am working on uploading the Price City Cemetery database (Price, UT is my hometown). My goal is to eventually research each burial, post obituary's and link to family members where possible. Besides all my family members this cemetery is the resting place for many friends, and people I knew or knew of, and so is very special to me. As of 7/14/12 THE DATABASE IS COMPLETELY ENTERED FOR BURIALS PRIOR TO AUGUST 2010. Please be careful posting a new memorial in Price City Cemetery with a death date prior to August 2010, as it will likely be a duplication. Sometimes the burial is recorded under a different married name, or a different spelling. There are instances of burials NOT being recorded in the cemetery records (likely one of the "unknowns" listed in the database), however, those are the exception. Only a portion of those I've entered have been researched and completed, but I'm working on it :)
I'm also a contributing Editor for the "Greeks in the West" tree on Ancestry.com. We are attempting to document the Greek immigrants who came to the Western states for the Western Hellenic Family History Library at The Magna Ethnic Mining Museum
If I have posted a memorial for your loved one, please let me know so that I can transfer them to you if they are not a relation of mine. However, due to numerous problems with transfer requests, I have had to adopt the practise of only transfering per Find a Grave's "direct 4 generation rule". I am happy to transfer your immediate family (spouse, children, grandchild, parents, siblings, or grandparents). I will no longer transfer outside of these relationships. Please use the "edit" function on the memorial you are requesting; state your relationship; and include your contributor #.
I am always happy to add or correct information, add links or update information.

i changed it to Chicago. I don't do look ups of census records. I can only use the burial records. I'll take your word for it.
|frwill48||Clyde Overacker - Forest Hill|
You have a request in F A G for a photo of a grave for Clyde Overacker. This F A G memorial site does not include the Plot and/or Lot numbers which would help easily find the graves you want photographed.
If you will call or email the Forest Hill Cemetery and ask for Plot and Lot information, I would be glad to go there and take the photographs for you.
The office number is 315-735-2701 and their email is email@example.com
Once you have the information, please add it to the person’s F A G memorial site and mark it with a “Photo Request” or email me the burial information at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: If the gravestone is covered in lichen or moss I will attempt to clean them with water and soft soap solution, except for older slate and limestone gravestones. I do not use shaving cream, chalk or abrasives.
GPS Coordinate update: Also note, I routinely update the GPS coordinates on the individual’s F A G memorial to those of the specific gravesite instead of the cemetery. Please let me know if you do NOT want this updated.

I am the great neice of the first wife of William Lafayette Winn. He is listed in Findagrave under two ID numbers Your number is 65542780 and the other entry is 154354381. Can you combine the two together?

His memorial was created due to a listing in the Hale Cemetery Collection found on Ancestry.com meaning that there is a stone for him in this cemetery. The memorial is not a duplicate of a memorial already created for this same cemetery which I would gladly remove. I have come across this more than once where a person has a stone in more than one cemetery although it is rare. Families sometimes honor their members in this way especially if the death came in a war. I will be in Connecticut in July. I will try to find the stone. If none exists I will remove the memorial.

Thank you very much! Yes,Donna Thomas is my mother and did indeed work at First Security Bank. She is living close to us in Upstate NY. Who were you folks? Such a small world!

Wonderful job on this and you helped me figure out the tree and get all the children right. Now I see how! You are a genealogist. Thank you for your meaningful work.
|Anne||Mary Cornwall memorial 131036|
In regards to your updates for Mary Cornwall I checked with Murray Cemetery and they show her to be born 7/13/1820 Ireland and Death date as 8/3/1889.
Can you confirm the dates you have provided (Jul. 14, 1829 - Jan. 27, 1893) or perhaps could there be another Mary Cornwall? I don't want to update the memorial until I am sure that the cemetery records are incorrect or that we have the right person.
