I enjoy doing genealogy research. When I go gravedigging (that is what my friend calls it), taking pictures and listing Military markers, my husband and small dog go with me. I have done research on our families: Morrison, Miller, Menges,Lockhart, Harris, Baker, Richardson, Fleet,Fenton and many more. We are still running into brick walls, but keep trying. If I can be help in finding markers in my area, please contact me. If you find any errors in any of my entries, I will gladly correct them if you let me know.|
The only complaint I have is contributors putting information on FAG before the deceased is buried. People lets give the family this respect.

|Clint Norwood||Caroline GreenPowell|
I have a Great Grandmother named Caroline Green Powell who married an Alex Lay. I have found no trace of her parents/siblings family other than a maybe on a census where 2 young sisters were living alone.
Caroline and Emaline "Powl".
I have a wikitree profile for her:
I am hoping that with all the Powell info you have you might have a clue as to her parents.
Her mother was possibly a Sarah.
Caroline lived in Alabama, Winston and Walker counties.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Thanks so much. wrmcferrin
May I have your permission to use your photos, that pertain to my family, in my Ancestry Tree?

Donna, I see that you are related to Thomas Larkin Baker. I am related to his sister Eugenia. I am hoping that you have more family history than I have. I was hoping that you may know when Thomas's father Rollin died. I have his probate records date April 15, 1863 so I know that it was before that. I have been hunting for Rollin since about 1999.

Thank you and you are correc. At one time, J.W. Free and Ida Bland were married. After Ida Bland deceased, J.W. Free would marry my Great Aunt, Eva Mills, who was his wife at the time of his death. My "Aunt Eva" would subsequently inherit Mr. Frees' estate, and that has since been passed down to us. This is how I know of Mr. Free.
This person was divorced from Mrs. Bland and was infact married to my great aunt at the time of his death. She was Eva Mills Free and her memorial is @ http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=47476816

|Find AL Graves 2||RE: Fleet family|
If you would like, feel free to contact me reference Fleet family at my personal e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org . I made an attempt to locate your Harris tree on ancestry but was unable to. My Great Grandmother, Hattie Cadenhead married Wilburn Henry Harris. Perhaps we have not only a Fleet connection but a Harris connection, too?
