If there's any errors in my Memorials, it was not done intentionally. Please let me know how to correct the error and I will fix it as soon as I can.|
I submit these Memorials, for the person to be remembered.
Some were Veterans of either WWI, WWII, Korean or Vietnam Wars. Most are my ancestors, cousins, parents, classmates or friends.
If someone is directly related and you're not happy with my entry, I'll gladly transfer the Memorial to you or delete it.

I found obituaries for my husbands great grandparents who, according to their obituaries, are buried in Chicopee. I am looking for Wellington G. Bird in Fairview Cemetery in Chicopee. He passed away July 24, 1943. His wife Julia (St. Lawrence) Bird is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Chicopee. Julia passed away April 6, 1941. We would like to visit the area in the spring but was hoping to confirm that Wellington and Julia were buried where their obituaries state. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.
Hello Roberta, is you're e-mail the same? I sent the obits but it was returned.

I am doing research on Co. F, Heywood Guards, a unit which came from the Gardner, ma. area to serve during the Spanish American War. Among the members of the unit is Eugene Schott. I was wondering if the Eugene Schott at find-a-grave had served in the Spanish American War? Thanks, Carla Charter

I am sorry for the long delay in replying to your message. I saw your note while I was on vacation but got busy and forgot to reply.
Of course you may add the cemetery photo. I don't know why it's not showing up already.

You are quite welcome. I take special interest in this cemetery. I want to give each veteran here a suitable memorial page appropriate to respect and honor them for their service. Eventually I will follow up with a photo of his stone, once it is installed. Just let me know if you wish to have his memorial transferred to you.

I ran up there tonight after dinner (gotta love the long sun-lit days we have this time of year). It is more like 15 miles from downtown Westfield up to Chester, but it's a great ride. The towns go Westfield, then Russell, then Huntington and Chester (and Becket if you go any further).
