I am a wife and mother of five who enjoys genealogy in my "spare" time. I also enjoy digitally repairing and enhancing old photos. I became a find-a-grave contributor because I love to share the info I find with others.|

|Roger Rhoads||RE: Mary Ann Pagett Rhoades|
Thank you so very much. My Henry Rhodes (1773-1851) probably attended the Rehoboth church in the 1820-30 era, though none of the family was buried there.
In the 1882 Montgomery Co. history on p. 21, Washington Twp., there is a paragraph on early Methodist Episcopical churches reading, "The next church put up was a log building on land donated by Mathias Pearson, about three miles south of Centerville, on the present Dayton & Lebanon pike. The date given to this church is 1813 or 1814, and the appointment was called Rehobeth. There was a good congregation here for those days, and among the members we note the following: Mathias Pearson, John Roberts, Thomas Swift, -------- Rhodes, -------- Conley. The old log building was used for several years, when it was torn down and a neat brick church erected in its stead. This church was continued to within a few years, when it shared the same fate as its more humble predecessor. At present, there is no building on the lot."

Been hunting for her for a long time as she married a John Rhoades in 1839, and I am a 20+ researcher in the Rhodes/Rhoades/Rhoads family that came to Montgomery Co., IN 1810. Other than the marriage to John Robert Rhoades, do you have any more info on him?

Jenepher, thanks for all the edits at Wyatt Cemetery, I had to make a trip up there looking for someone, so I added a few. i hope all is well, Larry
|Ashley Scott||Hello Jenepher!|
I noticed that you have photo requests for Thomas Boren and Stephen Conkle. I wondered if you had some kind of connection to either of them. Stephen Conkle is my GGGgrandfather and Thomas Boren may be my illegitimate great grandfather. I may be able to get pictures of both of these graves for you.

|nancy arnold||RE: John Beverly Wood|
Thanks for replying to my email. This is the first time I have done this so I'm afraid I'm not sure what you mean by transferring them to me. If it is possible just to correct the info that would be great. I know you must spend mega hours on all of this and it's such a wonderful gift for all of us who are searching for our ancestors. Just let me know. Thanks again!
|nancy arnold||John Beverly Wood|
So glad you are also interested in John Beverly Wood and his wife Lucinda A. Wood.
I am their great-granddaughter and the granddaughter of his son Charles Edward Green Wood and his wife, Sarah Nineveh Salmons Wood. The picture that is posted is one of John Beverly Wood's tombstone and Sarah Nineveh Salmons Wood tombstone. I have Charles Edward Green Wood and Sarah Nineveh Wood's family Bible and in it is listed John Beverly and Sarah Nineveh Salmons Wood along with their dates of birth and death. Also along with Charles Edward Green Wood and Sarah Nineveh Salmons Wood's dates of births and deaths are listed all 12 of their children who survived to adulthood.
Would appreciate if these corrections could be made and would enjoy hearing from you.

I noticed you are the contributor for the John Adams Cemetery in Patrick Springs, VA. Do you happen to know about the flat stone that says Native Americans on it and the numbers 1,2,3,4 in that cemetery?
My name is Teresa Vest and one of my FB friends on a page for Native Americans visited it and wax asking? I actually live in the next county of Floyd.

You're welcome Jenepher! I'm happy I could help.
|Mary LeCount||RE: New Calvary and Fettngs.|
