I have been raised believing that I am of the 11th Generation descendant of John Branham, Father of Caron Brannon, Father of James Brannon, Father of William H. Brannon, Father of William M. Brannon, Father of Patrick Brannon, Father of Andrew Gramling Brannon, Father of Thomas Richard Brannon, Father of Howard Cecil Brannon, Father of Lloyd Paul Brannon, Sr., my Father!|
For the time being I am stationary in what I have found, even though positive proof has not been established different. That is one reason I maintain information and listings on Find A Grave. There are those who provide direction, and those who provide opinion, and I choose to use the information of direction, instead of those provide opinion of autocracy. For now, I do not subscribe to the DNA or Fingerprint THEORIES for ancestral data.
This is a fantastic site that has provided to have some most excellent information for the documenting of my Family Tree. As of 04 03 2016, I have documented 3,930 Brannon Family members, in my tree and over 15,000 extended family members-married into a Brannon member. This will be something of information that I can pass on to my descendants and publicly memorialize my family and its ancestors and connections.
This site allows anyone and everyone, the ability to give prayers, thoughts and leave tokens of flowers, photos and memories to friends and family, when they may not have the convenience, means or ability to visit their memorial site.
If your site of, or a family member has been sent a token of flowers "of The Brannon Family Tree", that is an indication that the individual of that site has been traced having-sometimes very distant ties-with the Brannon generation that I represent. FAMILY, of any distance, is FAMILY. I have created a collection of names that are associated with the Brannon Family Tree and maintain that database with any and all references that I can find, about that person.
If I have maintenance/administration of a site, that you would like transferred, I will consider any and all requests, except for my Brannon family lineage and heritage. I will reply to all requests, and will not ignore you. I am not a F.a.G. Gestapo and do not determine what you will do with or how you do your researches and documentation.
If you are a F.a.G Volunteer, THANK YOU for your hard work and dedication to this organization. You have touched so many lives, brought relief to so many, educated families and even closure to many.
If you are a viewing guest to F.a.G., Welcome, Join up as it is worth it!

|K L Bonnett||Hannibal Brannon|
I have found a Hannibal Brannon in Timberlake Cemetery Atalissa,Iowa. I don't know if his marker still exists but it did exist when the WPA did their survey of tombstones in the late 1930s. Born 1800 (or 1799) - died May 1 1863 during the Civil War at Atalissa, Iowa. He was a member of the Greybeard Regiment - ( The Greybeard Regiment has a unique place in history.
It was the only regiment made up of men over the enlistment or draft age which at that time was 45. All were volunteers...some as old as 80 years.)
I entered a memorial for him since there was none listed in Timberlake

Thanks, cousin. I'm working my way through the Brannons, attempting to get families linked along the way. It's amazing how many of us there are.

|Rosa Nutt||Samuel & John Husk Transfers|
Dear Mr. Brannon: Thank you for sending me the info on the Samuel and John Husk family memorials. Since I believe the Husk and Brannon families are related, I wanted to transfer them to you. I'm not related to either of these families, nor anyone in Calhoun or Roane counties. If there are other memorials I created, that you would like to have, please let me know. I'm just a kind old soul living down here in Charleston and spending my time helping others on Find A Grave. God bless. Rosa N Charleston WV
