If you enjoy the photos I have posted, or you have copied them, please show the courtesy of a brief notification. (In most cases, you will find I have more photos to share.) My hope, in sharing, is to exchange with others so as to mutually build family memories.|
I have entered names on findagrave, knowing that there may be errors. It has not been uncommon to find different dates and names on headstones, family Bibles, and death certificates...for the same person. In instances in which I have a public record that conflicts with other data, I have tried to submit all conflicting information, without bias. Please let me know of any errors, so that I may present the best possible information.

I am writing you concerning some information on the Overbys of Alamanace. Great Grandparents left Alamance for South Carolina around the late 1800s. Trying to get a location on my people up here. I live in Eastern NC now and ready to tackle Alamanace soon.

In my search related to Hall Family members I came across your documentation of the Hall Family Cemetery. All of those buried there are directly related to my husband and we would love to visit to document it for our family tree, however I can't find its exact location. It's only location listed is Lawsonville Stokes county, could you please provide its exact location?
|Mary Tatum||Daniel Gray|
I am interested in proving the children of Daniel Gray - I am descended from his daughter Mary Ann Dickerson Gray and have her prayer book. He is my Great-Great-Great Grandfather. Working on application for application for National Society of Daughters of 1812. Thanks for any help.

hi! There is a mistake on Find A Grave # 41462539 . Ollie Mae Hayden was born April 19., 1905 and was never married to a Mr. Campbell. Someone has linked her up wrong. Thanks,

Thank you for your reply.
|SallyP||Abram F. Mays|
Jason, can we compare notes on Abram F. Mays, my 1st great-grandfather. I have a hand written genealogy chart created by one of my ancestors, my grandmother I believe, that says the middle name for Abram F. "Abe" Mays (her own father) is "Franklin" rather than "Fontaine." I have created a JPG image file showing this chart. I will be glad to send it to you by e-mail or post it here on Abe's memorial page. Please let me know which you prefer. Thanks.

We transfered Mary's memorial to you. She is not related to our family. We made her memorial for any one who may be looking for her. You can now add any additional info if you have any to add! Take care.
