Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy and American History are my passions. That being said, I recognize that Find A Grave is a Memorial site, not a Genealogy site. But it is a great research tool, and as such should be made as correct as possible.
My "home" cemetery is Brookfield Cemetery, in Worcester county Massachusetts. I try to fulfill photo requests in the immediate area whenever possible.
I want these memorials to be in the hands of family members - if this is your 3x great uncle, he means more to you than to me! So, please ask, I will transfer.

RE: Rev's Henry & James Kilbourn
Rev. James Kilbourn was alive on June 3, 1880 (census) in Racine with 2d wife and four sons, he was dead the next month, it's nearly obvious he was buried with family in Mound cem., Racine, other wise it's a good place holder, until a burial record can be located. No?

I'll get back to you on the Kenyon College question soon.

Thanks, Andy (1/2) Kilbourne

I would like to know more about his hard life. I have been thru hell and back and since his grave is on my way to work, I will adopt him. I take care of many soldiers in this area. I can't stand to see someone who gave his life for our country go forgotten. They deserve a clean space and a flag; at the least!

RE: Phille and Joel Hawes
This is what I found in the Find A Grave Rules.

First Name
First name of the deceased. Put the entire first name (if known), even if the grave marker is only an initial. Do not include titles or other prefixes in the First Name field.

i can't find anything that he married anyone other than betsey chapman. they had children from 1802-1820. i find no polly having children in that time frame. i did find a birth record on familysearch for almira w/ pa DAVIS and mrs POLLY shattuck but that is not the original either altho it must be what you saw. personally, after searching, i'm comfortable w/ david and betsey. your thoughts...cheryl

RE: Alice B. Gass in Brookfield
I have sent you a new edit suggestion with links to her parents and to her husband which currently appears as her brother. Thank you for bringing this to my attention and for all your work with these memorials. Bruce
