Prayer for Genealogists
Lord, help me dig into the past
And sift the sands of time
That I might find the roots that made
This family tree of mine.
Lord, help me trace the ancient road
On which my fathers trod
And led them through so many lands
To find our present sod.
Lord, help me find an ancient book
Or dusty manuscript
That's safely hidden now away
In some forgotten crypt.
Lord, let it bridge the gap that haunts
My soul when I can't find
The missing link between some name
That ends the same as mine.

|Brumfield Search||Dora VENZ SANDS|
Thank you so much for the picture of Dora VENZ SANDS' gravestone. She was my husband's great grandmother and finding her final resting place is just wonderful. From the research I have done on his family, I know SANDS was her second marriage, and that Dora's parents (her maiden name was FISHER), were buried in the same cemetery. Their names were Henry and Lillian FISHER. I wonder if you have taken pictures of their gravestones or, if you haven't, would you consider doing that for us. We really appreciate what you do.
Thank you again,

Hi! Memorial #75536966 Marie R Crawford in the Ashland Cemetery is linked to Eugene Crawford as her spouse. That is actually her son. They are buried together because his widow gave my dad her plot for my grandmother because she remarried after my uncle Gene's death. I don't want to take over that memorial. I just joined and don't really know how to do anything yet. If you could just change that, it'd be great. Thank you for all your contributions!!
Emily, you created memorial #82255734 and included a headstone photo. It is attached to
Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens, Ashland, KY.
Another findagrave contributer has created a memorial for Hamilton, listing him in the Bellefonte Memorial Gardens East, Flatwoods,KY. No headstone photo attached. This is the cemetery listed in his obituary.
I believe yours is the correct info., as he lived in Ashland at the time of his death and you included the photo. Can you confirm?
