Bio and Links
Bio Photo I lived and worked in the Dallas area over 35 years and now reside in northeast Texas. I LOVE the older cemeteries in this area (Cass, Camp, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Titus
and Upshur counties).

Some contributors on this site are too "serious" and want to "collect" memorials....I am not a collector (I don't manage more memorials than I created) nor a hoarder (I will transfer/I don't manage all that I have created). I do like to be accurate in linking so I do my own research, but welcome your contributions and suggestions!

If you send me a "link" edit and I cannot verify it on my own, I will still generally accept it, but will place your name on the memorial, so if someone has a question about it, they can contact you! But I do NOT link to "unknown burial" memorials.

Please always remember: "You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar".

HAPPY HUNTING !!!

RE: George Summerlin
Thank you so much for the transfer of Uncle George. Would you also transfer Aunt Leila to me too? I'd like to write a bio on her as well. Thanks again

Memory Park Cemetery, Longview
Just a heads up: Temple Emanu-El in Longview applied with the state to have their Hebrew section inside Memory Park recognized as a separate Harrison County cemetery. It was recently granted by the Texas Historical Commission and we are working to get their burials moved over to the newly designated cemetery. Some of these online memorials/ interments are in your control, and just wanted you to know what was going on when you see the requests come across. I'm sure it will be confusing to many others for years to come (as they have no current plans to build a fence), but I will at some point get their complete list and begin sending edits to have the interments moved to the new cemetery designation.

RE: 2 Springhills
I am confused. If you would like, give me a call in the morning at 9037673817. I can probably still meet you at the cemetery if you would like. Just a thought.

Margaret Anderson
Violet Maeda Davis
Thank you for responding. We were at the cemetery this weekend and took the photograph with her name as Violet. I also found her birth certificate as Violet Ma??? - Just wanted you to know that like my mother, she probably went by her middle name instead of her first name.

Thanks Tricia. Jesse and Mary had one more daughter, Mary Effie who married John A. Palmore in 1914. She is buried in Woodmen Cemetery, DeKalb, Bowie, Texas. I have requested her to be connected to Jesse & Mary's memorial.

Have a blessed day.
