Bio Photo We are a group of interested and dedicated volunteers that take pride and interest in documenting each and every grave site in Brown County, Texas. Should we make any errors or omissions, please notify us so that we may correct them, using the edit feature please.

Brown County was a frontier county in Texas, and many small communities sprang up here, only later to fade away. Nearly all had small cemeteries or had burials on their family homesteads. These too, we wish to document, so that we can acknowledge their sacrifice for future generations.

Brown - Moro Cemetery
The stone for "Joe Moore" is for Mary Ellen Moore and Bruce Moore. Do you know if "Joe Moore" was a nickname? I'm researching Bruce Moore and find his name to possibly be Alexander Bruce Moore and yet I'm not sure. They were divorced according to Mary Ellen's death certificate. Help?
Much love,
Vicki Hittson
