Bio and Links
Bio Photo My mother and my grandmother instilled in me a respect for family members who had passed on. That, and a love of family history led me to Find a Grave. In trying to make sure all members of my family are listed, I became interested in helping others, especially through photographs of markers. I am particularly interested in photographing and recording old and broken markers.

You are welcome to use my photos or if I have added some of your people, I will be happy to transfer them. Please let me know if corrections are needed.

Photo Request
Hello Ms Ellis,

You took an excellent photo of my great-grandmother's (Ada E Wilder Huey) headstone in Oak Hill Cemetery in Pontotoc, MS, thank you for the work you have done! Her husband, William Heron Huey is also buried there, but, there is no photograph. I was wondering if you would be so kind when you get a chance to investigate this for me? I would appreciate this so much!

Sincerely,

Larry Huey

Mary Della Perry
Lynn:

THANK YOU. I so appreciate the photo you took of the tombstone for Mary Della Perry in Springville Cemtery outside of Pontotoc, MS. She's my ggrandmother and I have been searching for long time. You've helped make something very real for me.

Again, I appreciate your kindness.

What if anything do you know about the cemetery. Is it still active? Where might find records of who's buried there?

From what I understand, she is there with the rest of her family including my ggrandfather though I haven't been able to 100% verify.

In any event, thank you for taking the time to go out there.
