Bio

I have been our Family Historian and Genealogist since the late 1970's, compiling a great deal of information into one booklet devoted to my family name Spengler, published in 1981. Two years later I published my book "Our Family History", wherein I discussed the families of Spengler, Schneider and Weber, (among others) from my Father's Dad's side as well as the Siddons, Jameson, Newell and Paul families from Dad's Mother's side.

I am currently working on my Mother's side of the family, including the family names Ulrich, Veith, Heil, Munger, Martin, Berry, etc... I hope to have a book ready for publication sometime in the near future.

If anyone reading this feels they may have something to add or questions about my research please feel free to contact me.

OBITUARIES: I may be an exception, but I disagree with the posting to my memorials of copies from newspapers of obituaries. They often contain errors that may be misleading, are often blurry, dark and illegible. It is also my understanding that posting an obit that is less than 100 years of age is an infringement of copyright of the newspaper. You might find yourself in trouble! Also, be aware that I will probably insist that you remove it.

REGARDING SUGGESTED EDITS: I happily accept edits to my memorials - please use the appropriate "Edit" button and/or send a message. Creating an alternative memorial and having Find-a-Grave merge my memorial into yours is disrespectful and irresponsible.

I also want to assure readers that when I request a transfer it is because the memorial I am requesting is related to me. I only collect relatives with the interest of completing information and connecting them to other relatives within the Find-a-Grave site. I find it interesting to be able to click on an individual then connect to their siblings, parents, grandparents and so on.

Best Wishes to all who use this site!
