Bio Photo "Genealogy Without Documentation is Mythology".
"If You Can't Prove It,Don't Claim It As Fact."
And let's not forget some of our Grandmas favorite euphemisms..."Saying,Thank You,Opens Many Unexpected Doors - Failing to do may close those doors tight forever"...
After the great age of using only pen, paper, stamps & libraries to do research work,I discovered the INTERNET and started way back in the early 90s working online as a local online Volunteer with the original Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness/RAOGK website operated by Doc & Bridget Schneider, working with them for over 10 years until it sadly ceased operations.I continued as a volunteer researcher,contributor,Look-Up volunteer & Cemetery Transcriber on Rootsweb,Pa-Roots & the USGenWeb Project in Pennsylvania since 1996. So with over 39 years experience as a genealogical history researcher;creating memorials here on FindAGrave is not a race, It's a quest to create accurate, useful & meaningful memorials for those who have gone before us & for all who find them here.

When using this website as a Genealogical Tool-PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR SOURCES ALONG WITH YOUR SUBMITTED EDITS TO ME USING THE 6th EDIT OPTION ENTITLED "Suggest any other correction or addition".

My main objectives:
Photograph our local cemeteries, locate lost burials & follow up with any extra researched information I can find to add to many of the memorials I have had the honor to create here on FindAGrave. All additional verified sources can be seen listed at the bottom of the memorials bio sections, which I put there for the convenience of others using this website.

So,for the folks who use this site & continue to share the information they find, freely with everyone, you have the never ending gratitude of 1000s of researchers who also use this site.

Please remember that the majority of the members of this site are volunteers, both for entries & photo requests. They spend their time & money to do this out of a love for history, in order to memorialize those who have gone before & to remember family members. It requires cooperation & teamwork. If you don't like to do these things, I'll suggest that you take up a different hobby.

To those other people who go thru life with a general bad attitude ,who enjoy re-writing history to suit themselves, who feel that they are entitled & generally egotistical towards others ,those few self absorbed bullies, who feel they are exempt from following the rules....This AIN'T FACEBOOK...So keep your drama & insults to yourself !

BEWARE of transcriptions, published ,online or otherwise-Many mistakes have been found in popular locally published works...I walk these cemeteries, verify against burial records & other multiple sources.
Please take the time to read the FindAGrave FAQs.
Please use the EDIT button when submitting additions, corrections & transfer requests.
Transfer requests should be for your own direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, your parents, your grandparents, your great-grandparents, your children, your grandchildren, and your great-grandchildren.

"Out of guideline" transfers will be considered depending on the situation ;please explain your relationship and we'll go from there.I will not transfer memorials for folks who are related to my own family lines.
Please do not add OBIT information and/or EDITS to memorials in the "flower or Token" section. These will be reported as abuse and removed ! Send an Edit !!
If I have made a mistake or you would like me to add something please let me know through the edit tab for that memorial and include your valid sources.
All messages made on my bio page for adding, correcting or requesting transfers of any of the memorials I manage, will probably get ignored & removed. Use the EDIT button on the memorial you are inquiring about !!!

I'm more than happy to add additional information on memorials, when reliable sources are provided. The new editing system does indeed provide a space ,please use the edit line option titled "suggest any other addition or correction" found under the EDIT button on each memorial & PLEASE include your sources for verification.
Before entering a new memorial, I always verify 1st that another memorial for an individual does not already exist. I do the same thing when looking for a particular Cemetery Database listed on FindAGrave. In turn, I ask all contributors not to create duplicates of any existing original memorials and to search thru the current cemetery database in the county you may be working in before creating a new cemetery or a new memorial. Duplicate cemeteries & memorials are at risk of being merged when found;which is as it should be according to FindAGrave rules & guidelines. Therefore, If that contributor decides to remove their photos from a duplicate memorial or cemetery that they created or cemetery, that is their decision. It is also their option to leave their photos in place. Laying blame for your own personal actions on to another contributor, such as any person who may have requested a viable merge,is simply a cop-out.
Remember....Sources,citations,friendly conversations & discussions are always welcome !

My permission for OTHER USES when asked, will be with the stipulation that you provide a photo source citation by referencing "Find A Grave" or along with my name & contributor number in the Description.

Philippians 2:3 & 4

"Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself; do not merely look out for your own personal interest, but also for the interest of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ."
Thank you,to my good friend,Donna H.

I had Anna Write a little note on The White Family facebook page.

Anna White Noble It took Butch and I , 3 years to get the Stone maker to fix the date... My Dad was the one that had the stone made.. He was confused at the time...and neither Butch or I noticed the stone was wrong.. I apologize for the mixup.. But it's fixed now.. The date is according to the History of Indiana County books.. It has everything listed there..

RE: Re-John White- 81931737
I see you entered what I was going to send you. I will post a pic of the old mostly unreadable stones. Anna White Noble's father Wayne Dwenard White 1918-1999 ordered a new stone but gave the maker the wrong birth year. Anna contacted the maker & waited a number of years for them to change the date. Finally a year or so ago they did the work. She & her brother George hold the White Reunion each year in Punxy. She is willing to talk to anyone who has a question. Will that History of Indiana County be enough proof?
I will post the other pic. We have a book coming out which we are slowly working on & we are working with the Punxsutawney Historical Society, where all our pictures from the White Photography Studio are stored. There is another History of ... out there which has the wrong date. We have work records from the Dupont factory in DE for him & War of 1812 service records.

RE: Thank You
Hi Marianne, I was hoping to find all the Sharpes in the cemetery in PA; while I was there from out of state, I have my G.G. Grandparents there too. I saw these did not have a picture, so I was up for the hunt. I was able to add one photo for them. Hope to add more local in Alabama from me to help others. Thank you, Beverly

RE: Etta's photo
There were a whole bunch of Patchin's in the plot with Etta which I plan to upload their photos today, in case you're interested. I just didn't have a chance to do so the day I uploaded Etta's.

Thank you!
Marianne, Thank you for approving all of my edits. Once again my research has brought me to your neck of the woods... it has been several years since our last contact when you helped me immensely with the Kinsley/Kingsley family. It's good to cross your path again!
