I live in Columbiana County in Northeastern Ohio. Since I started my family history research, I have been amazed at the unknown family members I have found so close to my home. I want to honor them by adding them to this site. Thank you to all who place flowers on their memorials.|
NOTE: I am working closely with my cousin, Joseph Chaplow, and some of my entries are his family. Preference on transfers will go to him.
Researching: Felger, Naughton, Stanyard, Miller, Bailey, Lind, Sherry, Cranston, Forney, Stallsmith, Hauptmann, Huch, VanFossan/VanFossen, Hull, Stump, Thoman, Summer(s), Baker, Hartje, & Rukenbrod (to name a few).
PLEASE DO NOT USE MY PERSONAL PHOTOS. Any other use or republishing of them is not permitted. It is a violation of FindaGrave guidelines. If you have an interest in someone, please email me. However, you may copy any headstone picture I've added for your own family tree use. The exception would be using my photos when creating a duplicated FindaGrave memorial. This is not allowed and is against the guidelines. A notation that I was the photographer would be appreciated, if only to assist others who may want to contact me about family. I've received a lot of help in obtaining family headstone pictures from other researchers and want to pay it forward. Thank you.
Please check the cemetery before you make an entry to avoid duplications. I welcome any corrections to information I have entered. Please use the suggest a correction tab on the individual memorial. It's easier for me that way.
Regarding transfers, please remember...just because you are related to someone doesn't mean someone else isn't. Please see F-A-G guidelines regarding transfers. *"The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it." However, I will transfer entries not related to me or my cousin, Joe.
I ask you to remember that the members of this site are volunteers, both for entries and photo requests. They spend time and money to do this out of a love of the past, to memorialize those who have gone before, and in remembrance of beloved family members. It requires cooperation and teamwork. If you don't like to do these things, I respectfully ask that you choose another hobby.
***Please remember this precious child and his family: Camden Fairchild.***
***Please remember this young man, a Fallen Graver, who loved what he did and helped many people: Coady Hatlen. He is missed.***
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4
"Do not stand on my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave & cry;
I am not there, I did not die."
~*~ONE FINAL GIFT~*~
Scatter me not to the restless winds
Nor toss my ashes to the sea.
Remember now those years gone by
When loving gifts I gave to thee.
Remember now the happy times
The family ties are shared.
Don't leave my resting place unmarked
As though you never cared.
Deny me not one final gift
For all who came to see.
A simple lasting proof that says
I loved and you loved me.

I wish I had something. But I do not. You are more on top of this than I am.

My e-mail is
Can't wait to see what you have. What's new in East Palestine ? How's your weather ? It's beautiful here today in the high 70's. So glad Mom & Dad moved to Florida. Did you know my Grandfather and Grandmother - Clifford & Jane Blagg ? Thanks for remembering me. Carla Hirsch-Kuizon

Thanks for the transfer of Clifford Hartman.
Hi Debra - Haven't talked to you for ages. Hope you are doing well. I was sorry to hear about your Mom - I still miss mine and she's been gone for 13 years. We lost my oldest brother to cancer 4 years ago. Still in Wenatchee, but not as active now. Still trying to find out about Theophilius, my GGGG grandpa. Annoying man - I think he's hiding from me. I did find Israel's sister, Sarah, who married into the Thoburn family. That's a very interesting family. Have you any info on Theo? He disappeared after his wife, Emily, died, he farmed out the children and as far as I can find, he never came back. Any info will be great. Also do you have a picture of John Fremont Moredick or his mom, Mirah? Would like to see what they looked like. Regards marge Rosenberger
