Bio and Links
Bio Photo I feel like I have been doing this for a long time now. Thirteen years. Feel free to send me corrections or additions and also feel free to use photos I take or submit. It is nice to be credited for photos as I have put a lot of work into them.

When you want to send me a message a little courtesy is nice instead of people writing rudely or demanding something.

If you are related to a memorial I have do not be afraid to ask for a transfer if they are not related to me I am more than happy to do so. I do not follow guidelines for FAG as far as transferring just tell me your relation.

Recently I have begun trying to put link in my family tree all of the ancestors here on FAG but it is difficult in some cases as there have been a few who are not listed as their final resting places have never been found. One is believed to be under the waters of a resevoir built in the 1930's so I created one as unknown which I usually would not do but it is the only way to link them. Another has been searched for by myself and a previous researcher for over 50 years with no luck so I also added him. as unknown for linking purposes. Some people will not link but in these I have added the number next to the child so they are known to exist.

PS
Your comment about an ancestor being under water reminded me of Chief CornPlanter whose bridge I've just driven over again in Salamanca, NY, but I believe remains under the waters formed by Kinzua Dam in PA. At least he remained true to himself and tribe even though cheated and deceived, as was too common.

Good to help out, Mark...couldn't figure out why I didn't post Mary along with Cornelius before, but probably because their marker is difficult to read...wish there was a way to safely clean such.

RE: Mrs []ah Houston # 98506454
Hi Mark,

I got your message on Mrs []ah Houston # 98506454 and I understand why you are asking this. I looked at my original photo but cannot determine it to be the later date. I do not like leaving mysteries unsolved. I will get back to that cemetery to check the stone again and let you know.

Thanks!

David Houston
Hi Mark,

Sorry for the confusion. You are looking for Sarah (Peebles) Houston, wife of David (6020518). There is this memorial: 98506454, linked as second wife to David's father, David (84902363). The memorial creator believes it to be the first wife of David Sr., however, the stone is very hard to read and I believe the 1707 death date is waaay off. Neither of the Davids were even born in 1707. It could be 1787, and this Sarah could be the wife of David Jr. instead.

Good luck in your research,
amy
