Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born and bred in Battle Creek, MI, I've lived from Boston to San Diego, with stops in Pittsburgh, El Paso, Chicago, Philadelphia, and now in New Mexico. Great memories! My grandfather and all but one of his siblings left Victorian/Edwardian London for jobs in Canada. They ended up all moving to either Battle Creek or Detroit, MI. My wife and I just had some time in Ontario (Jul 2010)where we made grave shots of many of her relatives all around Perth County.

RE: Shrank's
Thank you that was so neat. We are heading to IL to my husband's 60th class reunion. I sure hope they come up with something like that!! Sure makes you miss the "Good Ole Days".

I see you added a photo to his memorial. Are you related? He is the grandson of Gustav and Fredericka Danhausen. They are my husband's great grandparents. I would like to know more about the family if you have anything to share, it would be much appreciated.

RE: Arthur Toland
Jim, you are very welcome. The woman who put up the memorial is
in Indiana and has no connection to the cemetery or anyone in
her memorials. You can email the superintendent of the cemetery. I
I will email you his email

Arthur Tolland
Jim, I walked all of M section looking for Arthur Tolland in case he
was not on lot 3, as recorded. He does not have a marker. I am
sorry to disappoint you

RE: Gossman family
did you notice how some of the graves say "Gossman" and others say "Grossman"? I left the cemetery when the sky started turning black. The tornado sirens started going off when I was on my way home. Lots of the traffic lights were out. It felt good to get home. ;)
