|Bio and Links|
Two decades ago my mother showed me a notebook she used when she was in high school to record some family history. I've been working on our genealogy ever since. Most of my research involves French Canadian and New England families, as well as my husband's Ohio German and Ukrainian roots.|
I love the opportunity that Find A Grave offers for helping others find the missing pieces of their family "puzzles".
Please feel free to use any photo I have taken in on-line or personal family trees. It would be nice if you would credit me for the photo.
If a memorial I have added is a family member of yours, I am happy to transfer management. I am happy to receive edits but please do not ask me to post obituaries unless you wrote them or have explicit permission for the writer. This is not only against Find A Grave policies, but is a violation of copyright law. Feel free to write a bio yourself paraphrasing the information, but I will remove references to living individuals in most cases for privacy reasons.

|Patricia||RE: Photo for Murphy Baxter|
Hi Sidney. Murphy Baxter was my father's brother, but I only vaguely remember meeting him and my Aunt Betty when I was a child. If you prefer to transfer Betty's memorial that is fine, but I am not a direct descendant, and it doesn't really matter to me. I can always add photos whether I maintain the memorial or not, and I do take advantage of the virtual cemetery feature, but thank you for asking. Patricia

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Your memorial was very helpful, since I didn't know Adeline's maiden name & didn't know she died in NM. I've linked Andrew S Keachie to Adeline.

You are very welcome. The people at the cemetery office were quite helpful in locating the marker for me. If you consult the map in the photo from the cemetery page, you can see the green section by the road, which is section G and his stone is in group 28 which is just back from the path. This seems to be an older section which is nicely wooded.

Thank you so much for filling my photo request. I really appreciate your high quality photograph!

Thank you for checking on the grave marker at Santa Fe National Cemetery. I was not surprised it did not exist since I was aware there was another George Alexander Ogilvie (Memorial# 43752675) at Tahoma National Cemetery with the identical birth and death dates. I ran across the duplicate memorial page at Santa Fe cemetery while trying to find where he was buried.

Thank you so much for taking and posting the photos of Norman's headstone. Excellent photos. I especially like your use of sunlight and shadow in the close-up photo. Nice work.
