Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retied law enforcement officer from England and have married my second wife who is from Colorado where we now have made our home.
I am currently a volunteer for both FAG and the local Pueblo Library, The Pueblo Library has an extensive obituary index for local deaths from the Pueblo Chieftain which can be accessed via the library website Pueblolibrary.org once on the home page just select search and select Obituary index, the service is free via E mail or a small charge is made if you want a hard copy. We are also developing birth and marriage records which are not available online yet.
I am currently compiling a list of Vets from the Pueblo Area this will be available in the Special, Collections are at the library.

Hi Vaughn, just wanted to let you know I have made several changes for the John Cooper Dean children including Blanche, Lillie (81159495), Myrtle (81403271), Cleo (81160216), and Junius E. Creel (81159234). Thank you so much so adding the obituaries of John C. Dean, Blanche and Walter, and linking them all together!! I am still trying to use the Pueblo library online but not having much luck. I sincerely appreciate all the work that you do for Find A Grave. Regards, Pat Forsyth (48323600)

Thank you Vaughan for the transfer. I guess the Spinuzzi name was the reminder. She is the daughter or my cousin, from my Uncle Jack who was my grandfathers brother. Thanks very much you are an awesome person. Have a Merry Christmas. Maybe I could make the next lunch date.

Sophie Rubenstein
Thank you kindly for the additional info for Sophie's memorial.

Yes, I generally work/volunteer in the Mt Nebo cemetery, Denver's Fairmount and Riverside cemeteries as well. Like you, I check every morning and sometimes later in the afternoon for new and additional info for these cemeteries.

Thanks for all you do!

RE: Pueblo Deaths
Hi Vaughan-
In the future, out of respect for what your doing I will not add any more burial records from the Pueblo Chieftain, unless it is someone I know or am related to and would like to add their memorial myself. Thank you and have a good day and Happy Holidays.

RE: privacy of living family members
Per Find a Grave FAQs:

Q: Can I add a memorial from a newspaper or other 3rd party source?

A: Find A Grave does not discourage the legitimate indexing of the deceased through obituaries or other 3rd party accounts. Newspapers represent a very good source of information as a public record. What we ask is that those who index and memorialize the deceased from newspapers and other 3rd party accounts do so with full respect of copyright,
***refrain from adding information about living people*****
and respond generously to the family of the deceased.

Transfer
Hello Vaughan,

How are you doing? I hope you are doing well. I am not sure if you remember, but you transferred a memorial to me about years ago...

Well, I am still plugging away at my family tree which leads me to ask you for another transfer. The Find A Grave Memorial# is 53971702. My number is #48039404.

Are you still working at the library? How are things going?

Thanks in advance,

edward

Veterns
Hi Vaughn, It was really nice to meet you and the others for lunch today. Would you want me to send the Veterans memorial numbers on here (Find A Grave) or do you want me to e-mail them to you? I don't have your e-mail address. Thanks, Kay
