|Shayna Holbrook||RE: Alva Ray Gear|
Thank you so much! Yes, his father, my Gran, passed when I was little. I have been trying to locate his obituary in my Grama's old papers so I can create a memorial for him as well. I truly appreciate it-- thank you for all of your contributions to this page!

Here is marriage of dau. Billie June Fortney:
|Del Groves||Gertrude E Fortney #37741937|
I believe this woman is most likely Gertrude Elizabeth Vannata, wife of Albert Allen Fortney buried in the same cemetery.
I have not found her death record or their marriage record. But, have found marriage records of some children. see at:
On the same page, you'll see a 1910 census for a Gertrude H (not Gertrude E) b. 1902 Ohio to Charles & Nellie. It seems a simple coincidence they were both b. 1902. Let me know what you think?
Trying to determine if these Fortney belong to mine. I have also not found a death cert for Albert, Sr. but his draft card states he was b. in Seattle. Yet, he is in West Virginia so makes me believe he was in WV because of relatives.
|Carol Askey||Transfer of Gannons|
I will be happy to maintain these memorials and will requests transfers on any subsequent edits. I finally set my computer so that the mail form actually works.
|James Printy||Transfer grave|
I wondered if you might transfer my parents' graves to me: Richard Lee Printy #42375229 and Mary Jane Printy #45287088. I have just started into this great adventure of looking at my family history. Thanks for all your hard work.

is the above mention memorial a family member of yours? (not mine) But the reason I am asking is I have a newspaper obit that I could send if he is.
