I am retired state employee who is conducting research regarding my family, primarily of the Altoona area. My line may be connected with the "Michael" line (prolific in the Altoona area) that originated in York County.|
I am also conducting research regarding the Lutheran Churches of Perry County, Pennsylvania and the pastors who served them.
All of my photos are in the public domain. Most are marked as such in the captions, but it is possible that I missed a few. So, feel free to use them as you wish. However, I would be unhappy if they were to appear on pay sites.
I'd like to encourage other contributors to do the same. After all, you can't take it with you.
In some cases, especially where the maintainer of the memorial is inactive, I have included material in the caption concerning the deceased.
Please feel free use the edit feature to request changes or transfers.

I believe I have successfully transferred management over to you of Miss Toni Fisher's memorial. I am so happy to have someone close to her turn it over to!
Please, continue to pursue having her memorial recognized as deserving the 'famous person' designation; she deserves the recognition!
I thank you for being patient and gracious with me in getting this accomplished.
Thank you again and good luck with the pursuit!

Hello again John.
I would like to turn over management of this memorial to you, although I am not quite sure how to go about it. I would of course, like to know if you would like for me to do this first, so I will await your response here first.
I also submitted in the past, a request for this memorial to be move to the 'famous persons' listing so that due recognition would be made for Miss Fishers accomplishments and fame- I didn't get anywhere with the request at the time.
I will await your response, and I thank you for filling in the missing facts. I will need to copy down the info you supplied and make your requested changes and promise to do that ASAP.

Please forgive me for not responding back in August. There has been illness in the family. It is best if you message me here rather than on email.

All done. I didn't see Harry Frees in Charles Evans so I had to find his death certificate and add him in there.
Sorry I didn't see your earlier request for an edit. We moved on the last day in April and May was a crazy month. Maybe I missed it or put it aside when for when things settled down, and forgot to follow through.
Anyway, thanks for the reminder and the info.

John, it's not there, but thanks for pointing that tab out to me. I have two other edits there I didn't know about!
What was the edit? I'm working on the site now and will do it now if you send it.

John, you were right next door to my Foxhill's and other family in Sec 10 Lot 10! So that area is fairly cleared off? In 2002 it took me 1/2 hour just to find the area. Also have many in Sec 10 lots 25 and 27 just below lots 6 and 8. Will you be going back? The two times I went, I took pictures just to take them and have since posted. Thank you, Jane
|Jane Hamilton||Sarah White|
I found Sarah's death certificate on the internet and gives her birth year as Jan. 14, 1842. And maiden name of Galbraith. Are you related? Jane
|Jane Hamilton||Isaac White|
I accepted your edit of Isaac's birth date, but by the calculation calendar and death data, it was Sept 3, 1844. Did you take the headstone photo recently? I have Foxhill's and other's in Sec 10. It was over run with foliage in 2002 when visiting. Thank you, Jane
