I live in Uniontown Ohio; Professional firefighter and paramedic for the City of Stow FD, and Uniontown FD (OH). I am very interested in my family history, as well as helping others with their searches. Uniontown is halfway between Akron (Summit Co) and Canton (Stark Co), so I would be willing to travel to many areas in northeast Ohio.|
I am searching for the following:
RIPPLINGER and FLICKINGER (from Summit/Stark/Wayne counties OH)
CHRISTENSEN/CHRISTENSON & MAYER (from Summit County OH)
BORDEN (from Lucas/Ottawa OH & Washington County PA)
KUEHNLE & NAPIER & HALL (from Lucas/Ottawa Counties OH)
LANDON & HEWITT (Franklin County OH)
WALKER (from Miller County MO & Pratt County KS)
McKINNEY & BOND (from Wayne & Carter KY)
WYRICK & STEPHENS & MULLEN & BILYEU & HAWLEY & GOLDEN (from Miller County MO)
GUEST & MILNER & HIGGINBOTHAM & PARKINSON (from London Ontario)
HARRISON (from London Ontario to Summit County OH)
WISE (from PA to Greentown OH)
BLOOD & GOETZKE (from MN)
MYERS (from Cambria County PA)
GRESSLEY & RAY (from Indiana County PA).
FEEL FREE TO USE MY PHOTOS ANY WAY YOU WANT. As far as I'm concerned, I took them for YOU, so they belong to YOU. However, if you are going to use it on Ancestry, make sure it's not already there before you add it.
Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for EACH transfer request. PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED. If this rule is not followed, your request will be ignored. I follow Findagrave guidelines for transfers and I make transfers that don't meet these guidelines on a case by case basis.
The goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it.
****If you volunteer on this website and decide you no longer want to maintain the records please transfer your records to someone who has an active account and willing to take over the records. I am one of many willing to take over records. This really will help reduce duplicates. It would also be a good idea to leave someone instructions on how to do make these transfers should you go inactive without warning.***** Thank You (Borrowed from another FAG Contributor)

Hi. We're having a hard time telling the different Lovina Machamers apart. Can you tell me, please, where you found the information that this one was 10yrs old? Thank you. She may have been the child of John and Rachel, but we thought she was an infant.

Sorry to hit you with all the edits for this but you have the names and I have the histories, I worked on this cemetery for 3 yrs transcribing and looking up families If I am bombarding you and driving you crazy let me know

I first want to thank you for all your hard work! I am writing to you to ask if there may be a mistake on Adam's death date. Is it on the tombstone as 1 May 1956? I think I found him in the death index on Ancestry.com and they have it listed as 1 April 1956. I am just wondering if they made a mistake in their transcribing or if maybe you might have. If it is on the tombstone I will leave it as May. Please let me know one way or the other. Thank you again for all that you do. Denise Armstrong
Thank you, Jason, for ALL of your contributions to the Find A Grave community, especially your work at Liberty Cemetery. I am very interested in the family of John Baughman (98599585), though not directly related. I am trying to link him, as a brother, to Rachel Baughman Viers (1841-1917). I am hoping John's obit may name her as a sister. IF you ever get to the Stark County Library, I would be most grateful if you would check for an obit for John Baughman. He died Dec 14, 1914, in Carroll County, but was buried in Liberty Cemetery, with several Baughman family members.Thank you for your courtesies.

Thank you, Jason, for taking and posting a photo of my great-grandparents' grave site at East Nimishillen Cemetery (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=pv&GRid=38598095&PIpi=69048599). I'm from Stark County but live in Columbus now and don't have much opportunity to visit/look up relatives' grave sites.
Is there any chance of you transferring the ownership of Winifred and Thomas B Lloyd to me? These were my great parents and I would love to be able to add the other children to their list. Thank you.

Thanks Jason for the information on Hartville Union. I have made the changes. Could you add your photos to my postings? Thanks for taking them!
Jason, thanks for taking the pictures of my cousin's gravestones. It's helping me piece together that branch of my family tree. I appreciate all you do for Find A Grave.
