***Sorry to anyone who I haven't been able to fill a photo request or make suggested corrections for recently, I have been ill and haven't been able to do much online. I am just catching up on my backlog of Find A Grave messages and stuff right now, and may only be on here sporadically in the next few weeks as well. Thanks for your patience and understanding! 11/16/09 ***|
I am a 33 year old female from Maine who has always loved cemeteries, and I love the Find A Grave website; I think it is a wonderful idea.
My genealogy research includes Grondin, Snell, Weymouth, Marston, Merrill, Carvill, and the list goes on... LOL.
In transcribing cemeteries, you list memorials for everyone, not just people you know. If I have entered a memorial for your immediate family member and you would like it transferred to you, please use the Suggest a Correction link located in the upper right hand corner of each memorial. In your message, please state your relationship to the deceased. I will consider distant family members/ancestors if you have something additional to contribute which I have not done already. Also, if you find any errors I have made, please use the Suggest a Correction link. I really appreciate people helping me fix my errors. I'll be happy to add additional information you have to the memorials. Thanks! (and thanks Julie!)
Also, please remember when you request a photo in the winter months, many of the smaller (and even some of the larger) cemeteries around here are not maintained in the winter. It make take a few weeks or even months for the snow to melt enough to even see the stones, let alone get to them. So if you have a request out there and you're wondering why no one had filled it, we may a

Hi Tracy, I noticed you have Marston listed as a family genealogical interest of yours. I am a descendant of William Marston of Hampton, NH, in the mid-1600s. I have a public tree with more info about him on ancestry.com if you want to contact me.

This is my 5th Great Grandfather, and may I have your permission to post your two photos of the headstone and cemetery for him on my ancestry.com family tree, giving you credit for the two photos?
Many thanks for your consideration.
I left a bio at find a grave for you. Did you receive the edit?

You have a photograph up on this memorial that belongs to a different set of siblings with different parents. Could you please remove it? The picture does, however, belong on #69245549 and I thank you very much for putting it there! There are a lot of Cloutiers and it does get confusing.

Thank you for posting the gravesite of Thomas J Field in Lisbon Me. He was my fiance when he was KIA, such a sweet man and a big loss. I live in TN and so, visiting his grave has not happened since his burial in 1993. Thanks again,
