As of July 2013, I have temporarily withdrawn status as volunteer photo contributor. This means local cemetery requests are no longer auto-sent to my email. However, I am still frequently checking local cemeteries for photo requests here on FindaGrave via a manual search.
If you have photo requests within approx. 25 miles of the 02536 (Falmouth, MA/Cape Cod) area, I will be very happy to fulfill them. Feel free to get in touch.
Thank you to all who contribute to the valuable resource that is FindaGrave. Cheers!
Allan H Henderson & Sailors Snug Harbor I noticed that you had created a memorial for Allan Henderson, who is interred at the Sailors' Snug Harbor Cemetery. Are you a descendant of Allan? I'm also a descendant of a mariner who resided at Sailors' Snug Harbor and is interred at the SSH Cemetery. If you are interested in more information about the SSH Cemetery and where to find Allan's SSH Records, I can help you. You can contact me at the email address listed on my member name profile.
I feel the gravestone photograph that you graciously did for me on 4/3/13 for Theophilus Dimmick #65073143 d 12 Sept 1760...should be on his son's memorial page Theophilus Dimick #5862039 d 31 May 1765. The first Theophilus' father was John so it doesn't follow the genealogy.
If you no longer have this gravestone photograph...and I can understand that..I can put it on the proper memorial page with an acknowledgement that you have photographed this.
RE: Roberts family in Old Town, Somersworth I have no interest in these memorials other than to comply with the Find a Grave rules of one memorial per person and to keep the database accurate. If you do not want to delete your duplicate memorials, perhaps you could ask the admins to merge the 2 memorials together, which combines all of the data/photos from both memorials. Or, you could work with the original creator of the memorials to see if he is willing to delete his, but I do not feel comfortable asking him to do that since the FAQ states that the first memorial created is the one that should stay. The new edit process can also help get additional data added and any contributor can add photos they took to any memorial and the photo is credited to the photographer. I appreciate your help in cleaning up the duplicates.
The memorials were not created by me, I have been working on a mapping project, there were some duplicate cemeteries that have recently been merged together resulting in many duplicates throughout Strafford County.
