As a teacher and with a BA in history, genealogy became a natural outflow for learning the past. Learning of ancestors being involved with major historical events have made those historical events become more personal and alive. My wife, son, and I live in historical New England and enjoy the ability to visit many of the historical places of our country's beginnings as well as some of the oldest cemeteries. The photo you see is of my grandfather, Goduise Joseph Lagace, in the 1920's.|

|Mayflower Pilgrim 332||Corrected to UNKNOWN Bradford in Kingston cemetery|
Thanks for your note on Mercy Bradford--You are correct & this has been corrected. This is not the same person as Mercy Bradford buried in Plympton, Mass. The tombstone photo was incorrect & this site had to be deleted & re-entered. I'm having to review every edit that comes in now on all my sites--too many mistakes are being put thru without documentation. I had two other ones today that were mistakes & no documentation provided. Thanks again.

HI Peter...Everett was a near neighbor of mine and his daughter-in-law Brenda (now deceased)took care of my kids for years. Everett's son may be open to helping you with the last puzzle pieces. He himself recently located a sister he didn't know he had...send me your email address and I'll give you his contact information ok.
|Connie Lagasse Russell||RE: Everett Fowler Sawyer, Jr|
I certainly did know him..wonderful man...why are you asking
|Debi C||RE: Olive Emma Strout|
Fair enough... I am going with Casco unless/until someone provides evidence to the contrary. I almost always prefer what the person reports about themselves. :)

Thanks for the details, Peter. I'll go ahead and link Olive to her parents. Oh... and I found two of her children's birth records that indicate her own place of birth as Casco. Would that seem consistent with what you know of her?

Could you please cite a reference for your requested edit to link Olive Strout Doughty to parents John Wesley Strout and Mary Ann Tripp? Thanks much!

I received your correction. Is there a memorial for William Mains?
