Bio Photo As a teacher and with a BA in history, genealogy became a natural outflow for learning the past. Learning about it with direct connections of ancestors have made many historical events become more personal and alive. This has even impacted my students as they do a year long project of their ancestry. My wife, son, and I live in historical New England and enjoy the ability to visit many of the United States places of historical beginnings as well as some of the oldest cemeteries. The photo you see is of my grandfather in the 1920's.

Sitnah Clifton
No problem Peter ! My Tuckers confused me also, lol.
Priscilla left a will naming "her Grandson George Tucker" (son of Jeremiah & Sitnah) Since she was married to George (Sr.), a lot of people assumed she was Jeremiah's mother. As you know, he was actually her grandson thru her Daughter, Sitnah Clifton.
To make it more fun, another of George's (Sr.)children - Martha Patsy Tucker - married William Clifton, also a son of Priscilla.

My great grandparents Charles Davis Perkins & Jennie Manchester of Torrington, Connecticut.
Grandfather Clarence Alvie Perkins (1892 - 1976) born in Torrington, Connecticut married my grandmother Edna May Hallowell Perkins (1898 - 1972). They made their home on The Mountain Rd.
in Jefferson, Maine where my father Charles Dana Perkins (1918 - 1984) was born. :)

Perkins.
I saw on Sally-Midcoast Maine's message section a note from you mentioning the name Perkins, and that you are also in the New England area. My last name is Perkins, yes my maiden name. :)
Please leave a message on our account page if you would like to share information. :) Thank you.

RE: Edwidge Landry Blake
I'd leave the request up and go with the chance that no one has had a chance to get back up there yet. Good luck

If I remember correctly, you were also asking for a photo of spouse. I was just letting you know, thru the "problem" note that there was a photo present

Edward/Edwin Moody
I changed the name on the memorial to Edward/Edwin and attached the following bio. Let me know if you would like anything worded differently:

Gray Village Cemetery records indicate this burial as Edwin W Moody, as reflected in the Maine death certificate. Buried in Gray, ME 10 Aug 1922.

Researcher Peter suggests that this burial is actually EDWARD W Moody, twin brother to Edwin Scott Moody (#110827131) who died 8 May 1941 and is buried in the Ripon Cemetery, Ripon, California.

Online documentation appears to support this position, most notably the 30 Oct 1847 date of birth on the Maine death certificate for Edwin W Moody and the California death index entry for Edwin Scott Moody with a date of birth as 30 Oct 1846 in Maine.

The 1850 Durham, Maine census shows twins Edward & Edwin in the home of their parents Charles T. & Nancy [Barrett] and siblings Sarah, Lucinda, George, and Susan.

Boston Massachusetts records show that Edward Moody, son of Charles T. & Nancy [Barrett] Moody m. Elizabeth A. [Woods] Coombs 30 Jul 1893.
