I am an amateur genealogist, living in Dublin, Ireland.|
I am particularly interested in the Pigott and Edgeworth families of Ireland and their descendants.
The graves of Irishmen who fought in WW1 & WW2 are also of interest.

they will not follow you,
The vagabond who is rapping at your door,
is standing in the clothes that you once wore"

Thanks John for the recent updates.
As there is no pull down menu for Irish cemeteries you may find memorial 122021678 helpful if you are working on Roscommon Graveyards.
Thank you for all your work with Drishane Cemetery. It is a great resource for my family history research.
Louisville, Kentucky USA
Discovered the wonderful work you are carrying out on Graves. Delighted to find two Harveys we didnt know about and are now added to the Family Tree. The photos are also great to have and we would like to thank you

John, thanks to you I have found where my great grandfather, John William Smith, greaser on HMS Leinster is buried.
Thanks John for this fantastic work-we are all in your debt.
|Rita Ward||correction Polgar|
I have edited the date of birth on the entry that you have for my brother, Laszlo Polgar, buried in Bohernabreena Cemetery. His date of birth is 24 December 1949, and not 1950 as showing currently.
Many thanks for your work.
|sandlotball||De Valera Family Gravesite|
The photographs are outstanding. Outstanding. Thank You.
The script is challenging. I'll send you an email shortly.
Never mind the first part. I'm just now looking at the photos.
I had no idea there were separate tombstones. Thanks so much.
Where are you getting the different years from ?
The ones I have come from Terry de Valera's autobiography. They're also the dates that correspond to information in a number of de Valera biographies published over the past 45 years.
Here's something you might be help with. His daughter Dr Máirín was a Professor of Botany at UCG for many decades and is buried in Galway - somewhere. Likely in a graveyard in a Gaeltacht, but I've never found the location.
|dara morefield||Hynes: Desmond and Thurlough (Terence)|
Thank you so much for adding the information re my two uncles, Des and Thurlough Hynes. There is another Hynes sibling, the youngest, my mother, Ita Veronica (known as I.V.) now I.V. Morefield, and at the age of 89 living in Bedford, England. Mom lost touch with uncle Thurlough (Terence) when he moved to Canada, where he later died, He had at least 4 children, my cousins, now probably grandparents themselves. I would very much like to trace them, if at all possible, while Mom is still alive. Could you help me in this??
By the way, our grandfater, Francis Hynes, was himself a stonemason at Glasnevin Cemetery, which is how the family grave comes to be there.
Many thanks again.
