I am an amateur genealogist, living in Dublin, Ireland.|
I am particularly interested in the Pigotts of Ireland and their descendants.
The Edgeworth families of Ireland and Britain are also of particular interest.
The graves of Irishmen who fought in WW1 & WW2 are also of interest.
"Forget the dead you've left,
they will not follow you,
The vagabond who is rapping at your door,
is standing in the clothes that you once wore"
"It's all over now, Baby Blue" - Bob Dylan.
One day, we will all become Fallen Gravers
If you are looking for a death in Ireland after 2006, can I recommend
Prior to August 2013, I had a hyperlinked list of all cemeteries where I had done a lot of work, on this profile page. The list grew too large and due to file size restrictions within the system, I had to move it.
It was later deleted by an FAG editor, and all of the info on it was lost.
Apologies to those who used to use this list.
The info will be restored in coming weeks.

|Jim Hobbs||RE: John Reynolds|
Greetings From Chicago ! Many thanks for your kind message, regarding John Reynolds, my grandmother's brother. My parents visited Ireland in 1974, and took the picture of the Reynolds' gravestone, but did not record the name of the cemetery. I have added St. Mary's to my other Reynolds' family members.
I do not have any information for the cemetery, the parents of my grandfather, John Joseph Fitzgerald, are buried. (Find A Grave Memorial# 106420498) Do you know of a cemetery in the Townland of Arywee, County Limerick, near Ballyneety, where my Fitzgerald family members might be buried.
Best Wishes, Jim

Pte E. Leonard Morey is the first Morey memorialised in Ireland.
Is there any significance to his burial in this particular military cemetery.
Morey is a Saxon Shore name and also South Western Ireland.
There were Moreys at Crimea.

I would like to thank you for helping me find my husbands grandfathers grave.
I had very little information about him only that he died in 1918 and he's wife was called Ann(e)
I have now learnt that his mothers name was Catherine and he had a brother and a sister yet to find his fathers name.
thank you John .
|js||RE: Private John Doyle|

|geoffrey gillon||Sophia Barrett's online memorial|
thank you for doing not just one, but more than one, photo
I am regularly impressed by the Memorials you are adding. The amount of research time you are putting into each one is impressive and considering the quantity of Memorials you add, the quality of them is astonishing.
You are an example of everything this site should be & "high quantity" adders should learn from you & emulate everything you are doing.
Keep up the good work. It's noticed & appreciated.
|Anne Dawling||William Ceceil Tosdevin|
Today I have seen this for William Cecil Tosdevin. William was the half brother of my mother-in-law Lena Dawling.
If you have any information on Wlliam or his family I would be so dleighted to hear it. He had a brother Louis Edgar Tosdevin and I'd very much like more information on both of these people and their family.
Cheers, Anne Dawling (NZ)
|Joy Barton S.||Thank-you for your work|
Thank-you John for enabling me, in Australia, to discover the grave of people related to me, who are part of my ancestry.
