|I was born in Austin, Texas. Grew up in Round Rock, Texas. Love doing genology which FindAGrave helps greatly. Graduated from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. Taught and coached in Texas for 25 years.|
I am grateful for any corrections or additions. I love to transfer memorials I've added to family members for their "safe keeping". (Please remember that direct descendants should always have management when possible. If you are not a direct descendant, I would ask that you transfer to one should they ever request it from you.)
I will not transfer any memorials that are for anyone that I am a direct descendant of. I prefer to maintain management of those until such time as I am no longer able to care for them. I appreciate your understanding.
If you are a FAG Contributor, and you send me messages about a memorial, but do not include an email address or have your messages turned off on your profile...I may not respond to your request.
I have had a number of people offer "corrections" to memorials, but when I have documentation to back up my information and cannot contact them back to inform/share this with them, I find it very frustrating. Thanks!

I have been trying to get "Angie" (#46868106) to correct his memorial as apparently you have too. You wrote her Dec 2010:
"Angie I have found out that Issac Hatfield & wife Emma Bacus are buried in Joppa Cemetery rather than the IOOF. I have put Emma in that location, please help with Issac. Thanks Clifton Baccus" I see that Angie has not changed her memorial (or deleted it as the wrong cemetery). Is there any progress on this? Do we need to ask Find A Grave to help?
I am looking for Gladys Amelia Harbison's family. She was in the family of William S. Bacus and may have married him. I am quite sure she was the birth mother of my sister - Betty Jean Bacus - born in 1929 and put into the Montana State Orphanage in Helena, MT. in 1930. This is very important to the children of my sister who need genetic information. Any hint you can help me with will be graciously appreciated. Thank you

Clifton: My name is shown as "maintained by" for this person but
I have no knowledge of that branch of the family that located in
Texas. The Ruby Elrod Backues from Maries County, Missouri, is
by first cousin and also my aunt be marriage. That is entirely a
different person. My close relative, Ruby Elrod Backues, was 99
years old this past August. Please remove my name from any of the
Backues family not from Missouri. Thank you very much for your

Here is a list for you..French Cemetery, Nebo Cemetery "several Baccus here", Crater (Old Miller) Cemetery, Hess Cemetery, Mason Cemetery, Greenpond Cemetery, Allison Cemetery, Crescent View. I just went out and photographed all headstones in the Allison Cemetery (Pike Co.,IL). This is the only Luther Bacus I found. There are not DOB, or TOD on it. I have found other Bacus's in several of the surrounding cemeteries and have been posting the pics of their headstones in the rightful gravesites. I hope this is of some help to you. Thanks. |Cissy Currie||RE: Transfered|
I contacted the administrators at Find A Grave and requested the transfers since he had passed so that I could link and edit them in order to add more information. I don't remember how long ago it was.
