Edwin H. Seabury 21741645
Hello Tina, Edwin's headstone is incorrectly carved to indicate he served in a New York Regiment in the Civil War. I came across his obituary while searching for another soldier. It noted his service in the 11th Michigan Infantry. I was able to verify his Michigan service through his Federal pension Record which stated Co. H, 11th Michigan Infantry. His pension record also noted "Died November 2, 1924, Saratoga Springs, NY"

His obituary also noted he "was severely wounded at the Battle of Chickamauga".

His obituary appeared in the Saratogian Newspaper on November 03, 1924.

Please add a note to the "Bio" section of his memorial to reflect his correct state of service and his wounding. I'll submit an edit request to add his complete date of death and location. Thank you for having created his memorial. Paul Turner

You suggested Kansas City, Missouri, as her place of death. There is no death certificate for her in the Missouri files and I can find no obituary. What is your source?

Thank you. Suzanne

Johanathan M. Flanders
In your creation of the memorial of Johnathan M. Flanders you have the following:
Birth: Nov. 14, 1873
New York, USA
Death: Nov. 30, 1915

Husband of Emilie Flanders.

Family links:
Parents:
John J. Flanders (1844 - 1897)
Martha M. Flanders (1853 - 1912)

Siblings:
George M. Flanders (1867 - 1891)*
Herbert J. Flanders (1869 - 1893)*
Johanathan M. Flanders (1873 - 1915)
Minnie Flanders Ovitt (1876 - 1959)*
Leahmon Flanders (1882 - 1947)*

Can you provide me with information relating to the stated wife "Emilie". As far as several of us have speculated that he had 2 wives--Eunice Dingman and Julia Blackwood. Any information you can share would be greatly appreciated.
