Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was rasied mostly in Putnam and Montgomery co., Indiana, most of my ancestors as far back as 1840 lived not five miles from where I lived, in Putnam Co. Indiana. My siblings still lives in that same area. Other ancestors lived in the Hendricks Co, Indiana, Nebraska, illinois, oklahoma and California areas, with a few scattered here and there.
I have been researching both family and professional genealogy for almost 30 years. I have published several genealogy books and sell them to Libraries and individuals all over the US. What started out to be a trip or two with my sister in law, became my passion. Cemeteries seems to be on the top of my passion. I enjoy walking the cemeteries, it is just so serene. In my lifetime I have come across some really exciting and interesting things. One of the BEST things I have found without even looking was, I found a half brother. I was 52 years old when I found out about him, what a BLESSING that has been. We have been together now about 10 years and have shared so many memories. It is like we have know each other forever. I lived in Indiana, he lived in Kentucky. We moved to Kentucky right after I met him, we were 2 hours away from each other, for 15 years, now we have relocated again so we are now in Florida.
My surnames that I am researching are LAMB,EGGERS,CASE,DAVIS,Morphew,MCCLOUD,MERRITT, Whitaker, woodall, Tatum, and related lines.

RE: Polly Mary Davis Case
Hi Cousin,

Samual and Polly Case are also my direct line. They were my 4th Great Grandparents. Not sure where I found my information but it is obviously incorrect. If it's not too much trouble, could you email me a cophy of the information you have?

Also, I am missing Polly's Great Grand Parents and beyond. Do you have any of that information?

Am also missing Samual's mothers side of the family. Any information there?

I am related to the Cases through my mother's side of the family. Would love to visit with you about family history.

Hey, Marilyn!

I didn't know you'd be the volunteer who responded to my request for a photo of Cordelia's headstone! Thanks for letting me know she doesn't have one. Since you're related to her--do you know her parents' names, or the names of any siblings? Had the volunteer not been you, I was going to ask about knowledge of the paternity of my former father-in-law...but that's ground we've covered before! Hope you're doing well--and surviving the Florida heat--or were you smart enough to go North for part of the summer?

RE: John Drummond, Evergreen Cem in Everett
Marulyn - there is no visible marker for John Drummond. If he was in WWII, we can order a marker for him. I am not sure if family has to order one, but will find out.

I will also verify again there is no marker, as have several friends working with me to photograph this cemetery. I posted a picture of his grave, but there is no marker that I could find. The description of burial place is Block 40, Lot S3' N6' 34. Which makes no sense to me - south 3 feet then north 6 feet. Why didn't they say north 3 feet? I will check with the cemetery office.

RE: John Drummond, Evergreen Cem in Everett
Are you still in Putnam Co. By any chance?? I hope to visit there next year and check out cemeteries in Hendricks and Putnam Co - Harvey Franklin (1872-1926) buried in New Maysville Cem. Still searching that line of my Franklins, so possibly more buried around there.

Still searching for my 3rd great grandfa 2nd wife, Susannah Hensley Spangler Franklin, who was also my 3rd great grandmother. Ha! Difficult to figure out and took almost 30 years. But Susanna died around 1872. The family (David and Susannah Franklin) were living in Gill, Sullivan, IN in 1870. So hope to visit and sort thru records this next year.

Fun!! There is never enough time to research records.

Hi Marilyn-

I will be going to the cemetery Monday to check records, but it may be too late for your request, but hoping not. We just finished school and I had to pack up the room, an unexpected event! If the request goes off, I will fill it Monday night. Just wanted you to know.

RE: Simon Russell
I can't find my original edit request, but I suspect I screwed up information about Simon's father.

For the record, Rev Abner Russell (#61749343) was the father of Simon Gideon Russell (#93718070) and Samantha Seward Russell (#61749352) was Simon's mother.

Cyrenus Zadock Russell (#64247448) was Simon's older brother.

I apologize for the confusion!

BTW, are you related to this family? C.Z. Russell was my great-grandfather and Abner was my g-g-grandfather. I;d be interested to know if we're cousins. Thanks!
