Bio Photo If we have anyones family and you want it transferred to you please contact us. If you want great uncles, great aunts, cousins, etc., we will transfer them to you. We want your family with you, not us, strangers. Why anyone would want to keep a family member from you is beyond us. Numbers do not impress us but finding family does. If you want your family, please contact us, we will give them to you regardless of how you are kin to them.

If we have made any mistakes please contact us and we will correct them. Thank you to the ones that have added pictures and information to our memorials. I don't link people that are buried with the same tombstone unless I know for a fact they are husband and wife. I did that one time and got cussed out. The two people that I linked together were brother and sister. I did not know and assumed they were husband and wife.

Sorry, George was my dad's uncle, died in 1939. The family moved to Nottoway from Newark, New Jersey just before 1900.

I see you have Masons from the area in a virtual cemetery. My dad Howard Tompkins and his brother George were Masons in the Blackstone lodge. They are both buried in Lakeview Cemetery. George has a mason emblem on his headstone. If you do a search for the Blackstone lodge, there is a history section on the web site that says my dad made and donated a cabinet in 1948 to keep the lodges important items including 3 gavels from the middle east.

RE: Henry Mason
Hello Bea,
You are very welcome for the photos of Henry's grave marker. My brother and I visited four major cemeteries in France and Belgium and took Findagrave volunteer photos of over 200 monuments in memory to those soldiers, and in service to their families. They will always be remembered for their service and sacrifice.

RE: Henry Mason
Hi Bea and Van,
I was honored to have been of help to you so that you could see Henry's marker. It was my only trip to Europe, and we went for the purpose of visiting Normandy for the invasion anniversary to honor the troops. We visited many WWI and WWII military cemeteries in a few countries, and got hundreds of volunteer marker pics for people back home.
I'm so glad it was a help to you.

Hi there...
First off, I'd like to thank you all for the marvelous work you do! True dedication.
I'd also like to request a trf of David Bragg's memorial. I have more time to work on my genealogy now.
Thanks again for everything!

Reamer Shotwell Powell #40383652 & Reamer Edlie Hudson #40383689
Would you please consider transferring these two memorials to me? Shotwell Powell was the brother of my great-grandmother, Lillian Belle Reamer Krause (See photo on his memorial) and that of his wife, Edlie Hudson Reamer. I am trying to trace the correct patrilineal line for this part of my family. I am curious why they were buried in this small family cemetery,as yet I see no connection to a Pettus-Richardson family member.
