Retired military and living near Antietam battlefield.
If I have added a relative or good friend, I am more than happy to transfer memorials.
If you are contributing photos to any memorials I have added to Findagrave, please put on good QUALITY photos, not badly cropped or off center ones I have seen WAAAYYYY too often!
REMEMBER, these sites are in memory of someones' ancestors. If you place a photo on a memorial, make it good enough that you would be happy with it on your own.
PLEASE DON'T "TRASH UP" MEMORIALS I CREATED WITH POORLY SHOT PHOTOS!
If I have added a family member, I am happy to transfer memorials. I am not bothered by F.A.G. guidelines in transfers. I am concerned about getting family members "back together." I DO transfer distant relatives since they SHOULD be with family.
I am also happy to transfer memorials of close friends as well as family.

Paul was Celia's husband. If you already have the photo, that would be nice to add it, but don't make a special trip or anything like that for it. I have decided, that there are just way more photos than I or my computer can deal with & unless they are part of my main branches, I'm not going to worry about photos (unless I need one to prove dates etc. I do have the record of Paul & his Find A Grave # in my family tree, so if need be, I will be able to find him.
I've been having so much trouble getting my computer back to "normal" after having the new hard drive that I'm going "nuts." Probably a lot like you felt when you needed a new camera. LOL
