Fannie Edmunds, 90978935, Chestnut Grove Cemetery
Hi Sandy,

I apologize for leaving multiple messages. I should've looked at Fanny's record before I messaged you about Patrick Edmunds.

Would it be possible to get my Great Grandmother's record transferred to me also?

Thank you so much,
Sherri Smith

Patrick Edmunds, 90795827, Chestnut Grove Cemetery
Hi Sandy,

Patrick is my Great Grandfather. He and my Great Grandmother, Fanny, have new headstones.

Would it be possible to transfer Patrick Edmunds, 90795827, to me?

I would like to update their info and photos.

Thank you so much,
Sherri Smith

Virginia Dillion Goodwin #82350137
Sandy - I think Will Smith has been attached to the wrong parents.

The sibling just older than Virginia has a birthdate of 29 April 1856 and the one just younger has one of 22 May 1860. I have hers as 16 March 1858. Which seems to me to be correct.

Virginia's father was Hugh Johnson Dillion. I have been trying to find where he was buried to attach him to his parents and 12 siblings.

Thanks for the nice memorial you made for Virginia. Wilda

Edit For Minnie Margaret Fisher Holt
Hi Sandy,

I see you've sent me an edit for Minnie's birthplace. I'm quite sure she was born in the Poca District, which is located in Kanawha County. I only have West Virginia listed as her birthplace because Findagrave didn't give "Poca, Kanawha County" as an option, just "Poca, Putnam County," which is what you requested it be changed to. In the 1870 Census, she and her family are listed as living in Poca, Kanawha County, post office, Sissonville. Minnie would be around 7 years old when this Census was taken, so I'm sure this is where she was born.

Are you related to Minnie in any way? She is my 2nd great grandmother. If you have any questions or would like to discuss this further, please let me know! :)

Ira and Gertude Davis - Valley View mem. Park
Hi Sandy,

I see that you posted a photo for Ira and Gertrude Davis' tombstone on their pages and was wondering if I had your permission to use the photograph in a family book I am working on for my husband and father-in-law (they are my father-in-law's great-grandparents). Thanks!

RE: Permelia Bowyer
Hi Sandy,

Thanks for your work on Find A Grave. I am Permelia's 3x great grandson and started doing genealogy this my 1st year of retirement. It looks like Family Search is wrong on Permelia which is what I used to suggest edit. I am sorry for the confusion. Her marker shows she was born in Buckingham Co. Va. not Georgia. I now see info that she was widow of George Crawford, ca 1828 before marrying John Bowyer their 1st born was my 2x great grandpa Gen George C Bowyer.

Permelia Brown Bowyer
Hi Sandy..Thank you..I found whom I think to be her father but unless I find a will or something I will not add him..but will research him further....Permelia was considered and orphan when she married George Crawford..George Crawford was killed in an attack shortly after their marriage. There were no children by her..He did have a son and daughter by a previous marriage which the som John B. Crawford was found in Putnam Co., wV..I have also researched him and his descendents....This is why she was Permelia Crawford when she married John Bowyer..I will be researching all the memorials on the Bowyers and will add corrections as I go..I have researched since 1980 and will be glad to add this as I go..thanks again for all you have done by the way!

RE: Pearl Clagg
I am an Arthur by birth. I am connected to Pansy Ann Arthur. She is the wife of Robert Riley Clagg. I was just trying to also add the memorials of his parents…which are William Henry Clagg and Pearl Edmonds Clagg. It will be up to you! Thanks for the note and considering it!
