I've been an animal rescuer for most of my life. I joined Find a Grave to leave flowers for famous people, when I read about Harry Chapin's memorial being posted here. Just months later my husband died suddenly. I have found comfort at Find a Grave and met several very nice people through this wonderful site. When my mother died recently, one of the first things I did was post her memorial.
My family surnames include: Alspaugh, Alspach, Alspachpaugh (the original), Stuckey, Wieser (also spelled Riser), Healy, Steele, and Morrell and perhaps Ellis.
Revelations 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

I just found this page through Ancestry.com, I was not aware there was a page for my mother, Janice. I noticed that you left flowers, did you know her? I also noticed other messages on you page related to others named Collins. Are you a collins? - Vicki | | | angelsaroundme

 | Thank you! Rev. Carol, thank you so much for personally transferring management of little Abigail Volpe's memorial (#13693817) to me. I for one never really expected it. That little angel in Heaven is like a baby sister I never had, and now that I'm managing one of her two memorials in this website, it's like taking really good care of her like a doting big brother does. I now solemnly promise to take really good care of this memorial as a tribute to Abigail. Once more, thank you so much and God bless! | | | Chris
 | Alspach/Alspaw/ Related I guess. I have a Henry Alspach born 13 Oct 1810 at Fairfield, OH and died 19 May 1893 in Boone co. MO. Could this be the same person.Added by Chris on Mar 09, 2013 6:34 AM | | | Kevin Collins
 | Tipton Interseting, Elizabeth Collins Tipton's father, Jeffrey Collins, fought in the Rev. War. His pension gave him some land in Ohio, I guess to persuade settling of "the West". Ironically, my mother's side is from the Jersey Shore and she went to high school in Zanesville, Ohio, which is close to where Elizabeth Tipton settled. Small world. | | | | [View all messages...] |
