Hi Carla. I wanted to drop a note concerning your listing of Leo Gerkin in St. Charles Cemetery, Cuming Co NE. St. Charles is an abandoned pioneer cemetery in a field, the last recorded burial was 112 years ago in 1898. I don't know where Leo is, but will guarantee you he is not in St. Charles. That area is known as St. Charles, and there is a cemetery and old church called St. Anthony's about 1 mile south. If I had to guess, he might be there.

Carla, thank you so much for taking photos of my family members, Carl and Augusta! I have been waiting for someone to take these pictures for awhile for my genealogy. I sincerely appreciate you taking time to do so!

Thank you so much Carla for getting the picture. I was in West Point in 2000 but didn't have time to search the cemeteries for my relatives. Are you related to the Whitaker/Krug? I know the name Petersen is talked about a lot with family.

Thanks so much for the photos today! I thought no one would ever get out there. By any chance did you see Jacob's grave? Is it the tall RUPERT monument you photographed? Also, were you able to find Magdalena (Roth) Rupp's grave?
